Great Gift Option AND Customer Service

I really appreciate the gift option for purchasing, which many other competitors don't offer. Additionally, the customer support team was incredibly helpful and clear in their communications so that I could get the gift recipient an email on her birthday, with instructions to select her own box, and avoid having the default box sent to her. I will definitely buy again!

Scam

I purchased a subscription for my husband (Man box) from Cratejoy. he received three months, then the seller completely cut off communication and ignored my emails. When Cratejoy themselves sent me a renewal I explained how their vendor had scammed me and after a lot of back and forth all they recommended was calling my bank (which I couldn’t do since their vendor scammed me after the three month mark) so stay away because you will be scammed and this company doesn't take responsibility for their own vendors.

Package delivery

We did not get a package when the notification said it was delivered. I reported it to the support people at Cratejoy and they responded immediately - on a Saturday evening, no less. We did get the package either overnight or the next day so all is good. Amazing customer service!

I ordered a subscription for a birthday…

I ordered a subscription for a birthday gift for my granddaughter. Wanted to confirm that first delivery would arrive in time for her birthday. The company continued to monitor and communicate with me to assure that all was in order. I am extremely impressed with the level of service and support.

Great customer service!

There was a mix up on an order that was quickly resolved. The immediate respond was unbelievable! They gave me alot of very clear information to help resolve the issue on my part. In the end it was miscommunication with a series of previous emails on my part. When I realized it I immediately contcted them, and they immediately replied! Excellent customer service!! BECOMING A LOST ART......

Purchase easy, items not delivered, excellent support

The purchase and transaction was easy. The fulfillment did not happen by the vendor even after several emails back and forth. Zara from support stepped in a refunded the purchase immediately to help make the experience better. Products and services are a good value and great gifts. I will look at doing this again but with a different subscription provider.

Great Customer Service

I didn’t realize my subscription was going to auto renew. I emailed cratejoy support the same day it renewed. Zara replied swiftly to my email. I got a refund and my subscription canceled. I really appreciate the help in doing that and it was so quick too! So thank you!

CrateJoy/used books monthly will store your credit card information without your consent. I asked for it to be removed. They will not remove it and told me to contact Cratejoy without providing how to do so, cratejoy then bounced me back to used books. Rep also did not provide additional information I requested regarding the gift that I purchased, had to re-contact multiple times and only got pieces of information. Customer service is bad as others have noted. It is not appropriate to keep a customer‘s credit card information when they do not agree to this and have no way for them to remove their personal card information.

Used book monthly’s customer service continued to be horrible as others have noted. When I asked them again to take care of this credit card information issue, they canceled my subscription without asking me in an act of retribution. The order was a gift for someone else and had been sitting for a week.

Missing package

I got an email that said my package had been delivered but I didn't receive it. I emailed customer support and within a few minutes I got an email from Zara saying a ticket had been opened. It turned out that I got the Paper Kitty box delivered the next day but the fast response was wonderful. I'm really enjoying the monthly boxes from Paper Kitty and will continue my subscription. I know if I have any issues in the future the customer support is awesome!

My experience with Cratejoy started…

My experience with Cratejoy started easily ordering from website was simple only problem I had was not being notified that my product was shipped like site stated after not receiving any notification for 5 days emailed the customer service team and they had my situation resolved in less then 1/2 hour couldn’t be happier I recommend this site to everyone lots of gifts to choose from.

Be careful! Poor customer service

Started out great, purchased a 3 month historical fiction book delivery. First two months of books came quickly and then nothing. The books were not worth $35 each but I enjoyed getting a new book. I emailed and followed process but still no response from seller and refund from CrateJoy. Feels like a scam now. I would not recommend.

Great subscription box and customer service

I’ve had a great experience for the last year with a Sprinkles and Wishes subscription box. We signed up for another year! If there were ever any concerns, I reached out to customer service and heard back very quickly, and all of my issues were resolved. I would absolutely recommend Cratejoy!

Spice Madam was an excellent experience…

Spice Madam was an excellent experience of various regional foods for an amazing price. I got a year's subscription, and each month I received a box with recipes from around the world, each time a set of several traditional dishes. They are built around easily obtainable familiar ingredients, and spices and exotic components are provided. Excellent customer service, esp. by Zara. Emails were answered w/in minutes, they were so responsive. Highly recommend!
