Scams report
Jamies Dad tried to rip me off, he falsified a MOT report.
He pretended that my car had 170000 on the odometer, when it is only got 107000 miles on the odometer.
Jamie is a good man but his Dad is a con merchant!!
Cranford motors are good until they…
Cranford motors are good until they have your money, brought a Ford fiesta from them after 2 weeks of having it, the car started loosing loads of water, told them and they said there is nothing wrong with it. In the end after 2 months of pestering, they agreed to look at it turns out the engine had a crack in it and they replaced it. Nothing but problems. Avoid at all costs
Great until they have your money, then disappear.
This company was great, until they got my money. Promises after promises then to be completely ignored and not following up. Don't believe them when they say their warrenty covers work local to you, complete sales pitch. I was assured many times as was a concern of mine, before buying the car, that all work could be carried out local to me as I lived a while away. Only to be told by Jamie at a later date that's not their policy and I would need to return the car. The car was advertised with 2 keys, on delivery of car only one was given to me, I complained and after alot of back and forth Jamie promised he would get one sorted local to me, also promised delivery of a parcel shelf that was missing. All of this I have proof of but now being ignored. The car was delayed getting to me at the start as apparently needed a service, something I'd been told had already been done. Further inspection of the car when delivered proved that there definitely hadn't been a recent service. Also no proof, no stamp in book or paper work.
Avoid this place at all costs, the sales pitch and feeling of being looked after lasts until the money has cleared. Will never be buying from them again and will advise others not to
Deceptive reviews on their own site..what happened to all the 1 stars?
Just checked the reviews that they themselves now offer and has changed from 1stars mixed in with the hmmmm 5 stars, to now ONLY 5 stars...Very questionable on autotrader reviews but at least there are accurate (from my experience) reviews from several victim customers..No issues during warranty no problem, any issues from the start RUNNNNNNNN or pray you get lucky and they actually fix it..Once the excuses come in why it's not been done when promised, or you get ignored completely, then start to worry...
This garage is an absolute joke
This garage is an absolute joke, spoke to them a few days before hand and they reserved a car for me. Travelled all the way from birmingham to stowmarket (130 odd miles). Spoke to Jamie at first, very unhelpful, no callbacks made as he had promised me. Then once we reached the garage the garage hadn’t been washed and the battery hadn’t been charged, like what even is this?. We then spoke to Pat who sold us a dream and said he will get everything sorted and deliver the car to us to birmingham. All lies. No message or update from Pat since we came back, atrocious service. Stay well away from this garage.
Amazing Service and Wonderful Dealership
I'm extremely happy with the service I received from Cranford Motors. After enduring an awful experience with another dealership following the miss selling of a vehicle I couldn't have been more pleased to finally receive the amazing service from Jamie. Not only did he hold a vehicle for me until my other deal was unwound, he provided me with a loan car to see me through. He was extremely informative and helpful throughout. I'm so happy I found such a wonderful place to purchase my new car from. Thank you so much Jamie for a lengthy but amazing sale!
Couldn't be happier.
I'm used to buying from main dealers so this was a bit different, better in fact. Relaxed, no fuss, nice chap, good looking cars, drove away within an hour or so and been happy ever since. A wise choice.
