I am genuinely stunned by the response from CPC.
Rather than acknowledging the issue, CPC has attempted to shift the blame onto me, suggesting that I somehow failed to notice the item was out of stock when placing the order. This is simply not true. The item was clearly displayed as In Stock at the time of purchase. The product was time-critical, and there is absolutely no chance I would have knowingly ordered something that was unavailable.
Trying to retrospectively rewrite the circumstances of the order instead of addressing the problem is frankly unacceptable.
Even more concerning is the suggestion that payment will be taken at the point of dispatch. Given that the market price for this item has increased significantly since the order was placed, this raises the obvious question: does CPC intend to honour the price that was agreed when the order was placed, or attempt to charge the now-inflated price months later?
If it is the latter, that is completely unacceptable. Customers should not be penalised financially because a retailer advertised stock that they did not actually have.
At this stage, the issue is no longer just poor communication or stock management - it is the complete unwillingness to accept responsibility, combined with an attempt to deflect blame onto the customer.
An extremely disappointing response that only reinforces the concerns raised in my original review.

A very expensive lesson in why “cheap with free next day delivery” sometimes turns out to be neither.
Purchase: 256GB SD Card – 04/02/2026.
The pricing was competitive, and the promise of Free Next Day Delivery was the clincher. Unfortunately, the moment I pressed “Buy” appears to have been the moment everything started to unravel.
If I could remove even the 1 star I have given them, I would.
Not that I would know much about what was going on, because communication from CPC is almost non-existent. And the small amount you do receive manages to be both dismissive and unhelpful at the same time - which is quite an achievement.
I fully understand that stock levels change. However, when a product is clearly advertised as In Stock at a certain price, it’s rather unprofessional to be told on the expected delivery date that the item is suddenly Out of Stock. Even more impressively, CPC can’t provide a reliable expected date because - now for the second time since placing the order - the information in their emails and the information on their website completely contradict each other.
The latest “update” now suggests it may be mid-to-late April before I see my purchase.
In the meantime, I’ve already had to spend additional money on a temporary replacement just to fill the gap. I’m now left with little choice but to cancel the order and buy elsewhere at the now grossly inflated prices, thanks to global market changes during the time I’ve been waiting for CPC to fulfil the order. So I am now significantly out of pocket compared to where I was prior to engaging with CPC.
In hindsight, I would have been far better served - and genuinely regret not doing so - by purchasing from another retailer who might have charged a few pennies more, but at least didn’t rely on the apparently fictional concept of “Free Next Day Delivery.”
For context:
£34 is what this product should have cost me from CPC. (It was about £35-£40 elsewhere at the time)
Instead, I have already had to spend £12 on a cheap temporary replacement just to fill the gap, and will now have to pay £64+ for the SD card itself - bringing my total outlay to £76.
All because CPC couldn’t supply an item they advertised as “In Stock” with Free Next Day Delivery.

Company great for deliveries but…
Company great for deliveries but ordering components is so painful. The website is so glitchy and freezes on most pages or takes 30 seconds to open. It is like using dial up interent. I have tried different browsers and settings and can't find a solution. Apparently I'm not the only person with this issue.

Cannot praise this company enough
Cannot praise this company enough. Was let down by another company, placed an order with CPC nearly 6pm on a Friday night, paid a small next day delivery charge and got my order 8.30 the next morning! The price was a LOT cheaper too. Brilliant!
