I didn’t receive a renewal notice & the company took the money anyway & auto-renewed. I didn’t want to renew S the one time I rang for assistance no one answered the phone (maybe because it was a weekend?). I have requested my payment to be refunded but 10 working days later I’m still waiting for the money to be refunded!

The process of changing my address on the system and renewing my cover was handled by a personable agent quickly and efficiently.

Cover my breakdown don't even deserve 1 star! I called them this week for help after the car lost power on a dual carriageway. I was with my 9 year old daughter. The operator I spoke with was very aggressive and told me they wouldn't tow me to my chosen garage as it was over 25 miles away and that I only had Local cover. They didn't even offer for someone to come and look at the car. I rang them again, and after nearly 15 minutes of it ringing out I gave up. We were left abandoned on the side of the road, miles from home. After a lot of stress and upset I managed to sort my recovery home through another company. I then looked up my policy. It turns out I had National recovery! They lied on multiple occasions. There was no point paying for a service that is non existent!

Bought through compare the market where I can it says my car registration is 2014. Then on their site it somehow changed to 2025 which I didn’t do. Called me to say I had lied and they were going to either have to cancel my policy or I was going to have to pay an extra amount. Scam.

I have had cover for a good few years but have never needed it however recently my car developed a coolant leak very close to home so I carefully drove the car home (less than 2 miles) taking note of the instructions being flashed up on the dashboard. I drove home as the nearest garage was much further away. Home cover was included in my policy but the company refused to provide a service as they said I had driven the car with a "known fault" i.e. the coolant leak and I should have driven instead to a garage to get it fixed (which was too far away!) I complained to the company who did say they were right to refuse to help but they did concede that I had not been trying to obtain an advantage under the policy so they said they would tow the car to the garage. Given their response came nearly a week after the breakdown had happened I had by this time had to pay others to tow my vehicle 10 miles to the nearest dealer who could fix it. In lieu of them towing it in I asked if they would cover the costs I had to pay to get it towed in myself but they ignored my email and 2 chasing emails I sent afterwards. I would be very wary about taking a policy with this company.

They took my payment and I haven't received any email or correspondence giving me my policy number and when you ring because you don't have a policy number they can't help.

Good reminder and all done with minimum effort on my part.

The young lady who called me was very efficient and explained everything to me clearly. I needed to renew my cover it was all very straightforward.

It was great to be able to get through to a human being, on the phone, and one who proved to be very helpful, to boot. I had all my queries answered efficiently and satisfactorily before deciding to purchase, with confidence.

Reknewed my cover today by phone and the service was excellent.

Didn't have to wait long for the call to be answered. Honored a cheaper quote that we found. Were polite, respectful and clear.
