first time using this company

first time using this company
first time using this company . recommended by my LPG gas company Northern Energy . Well after me waiting in from 11 to 3 pm for an engineer to come . we have no hot water and didn't have any heating either . The engineer never turned up no contact nothing . so went on the chat and she was as slow as a snail I had to keep asking if she still there . apparently the engineer cancelled the appointment . she was supposed to ring me with another appointment and I am still waiting. disgusting absolutely disgusting . my Husband has a heart condition and we are both over a certain age . will be reporting to the my gas company what a rubbish company they have put me onto coverbaloo. Coverbaloo do not reply telling me its 'preferred management solutions ' fault and not yours . I am afraid that you are the company that use them and I have my insurance cover with YOU !!!! absolute rubbish companies the pair of you UPDATE. They never bothered to contact me after the engineer didn’t arrive so I had to contact them again . So it was rearranged for that same day but between 5 and 9 pm and AGAIN never turned up no contact from them at all !!!! They said they would re arrange after I went on the chat it’s now the next day and no contact to make another appointment!! I cannot believe the way we have been treated !!!!

In answer to your reply the engineer did NOT come the next day ! He is due to bring a part to fix it today …… let’s see if he actually turns up !!

Firstly I would like to apologise for the service you have received on this occasion. This is not the standard that our claims handler, Preferred Management Solutions, usually achieve. We have escalated this to management at PMS to handle your complaint, meanwhile as I understand it the engineer came out the next day to you to resolve the issue.

Clear information from Coverbalo

I have just purchased Coverbaloo Home Emergency Insurance on line so have not yet made a claim. The covering paperwork arrived promptly and clearly states what is and what isn’t covered and how to make an urgent call or a claim.

Simple and easy to use - definitely recommend.

The online process was simple and straightforward compared to other sites. I received a quote instantly and was satisfied with the no frills policy I took up. Payment arrangements were also very easy.

I was satisfied with what I was getting…

I was satisfied with what I was getting from Northern Energy. My main interest was boiler cover. I think my problem was finding my way through the application when i needed to sort out what I needed and I went down the Wong avenue before I latched on to the discount.

I’m sorry that you appear to have had a bad experience on this occasion, though I can’t determine any information from your review on what has actually gone wrong. We don’t have any note of you contacting us about your policy with us, so I suspect your issue may instead be related to the company who provide boiler services for us, Preferred Management Solutions. I have been made aware of an issue where they had not updated the price on the website for an oil boiler service, and this is currently being fixed.

Sorry that you didn’t have a good experience on this occasion. Your review doesn’t actually relate to coverbaloo, as boiler services are provided by a different company - Preferred Management Solutions. I can confirm though that your statement is incorrect. They do offer boiler servicing for oil boilers, but it's at a different price to the servicing for gas boilers. The issue was that they had not updated their website with this new information prior to you making a payment, so my apologies for this. They are resolving this issue currently, but services for oil boilers are still available to be booked by phone.
