I ordered Green books by foot, chose foot option. dispatched quickly and arrived 2 days later. Such a beautiful & interesting selection of 12 used books, colours are fantastic, will look great on display. Highly recommend Country House Library

Fantastic experience! I got in contact with Country House Library as I needed a rush delivery for Christmas and the customer service I received was exceptional. They responded with minutes, told me my options and made it happen. Slight error in my order but they told me straight away and again, gave me my options for a solution. They delivered the books exactly as they said and the condition were as it said on their website.

These other reviews may be off putting but I wouldn't let it discourage you. I would definitely recommend them and I will be using them again.

The Books Are In Appalling Condition.
I am so disappointed. The website claimed that they may have ´minor signs of wear and tear’. Of the seven paperbacks I ordered ( the CS Lewis Narnia series), one of them had a badly torn cover and spine, one had a torn spine and creased cover and the other also had a creased cover. They are the older Puffin paperback editions, so the yellowish brown pages are not too shocking, but none of these books could be described to be in good condition. I paid euros 42.90 for them and think that this is ridiculous considering the condition of the books. I have now received a mail saying that the three worst books will be replaced and apparently the error on the email address was due to my own typo . Apologies to them for that but thst goes not excuse the sending out of sub standard books!

I needed books for a small library space and what arrived is so unbelievably aesthetically pleasing I haven't stopped grinning. I'll definitely be making more purchases in the future. Items arrived on time, and are as expected at the time of purchase. Very happy customer.

Awful books received nothing like described and the picture on the website, could have bought better at the charity shop.
Also I have sent 3 emails to ask them to let me return which they have not responded too!!
Awful customer service, awful products! A joke for the price they are charging!!

Couldn’t have been more helpful. I wanted specific observer book titles for product photography and they were so patient and helpful putting together a selection that worked. Thank you so much

Country House Library popped up on google as I was looking for some old childhood books.
I had never used them before so was a bit apprehensive, but they were fantastic !! Considering it was over the Christmas period, I was very impressed with the delivery time. I would not hesitate to buy from this company again. I highly recommend them.

Received a selection of books which were absolutely delightful, but rather more beige than the grey selection I ordered. Emailed customer service and they responded promptly, and offered to send out a grey selection. Very grateful for such efficient and helpful support.

Great books as described. Prompt delivery and responsive customer service. I nearly didn't order based on the reviews on here but it was a relatively small purchase for a gift and I'm so pleased I went ahead. I had no issues and I am delighted with the books. Thank you.

Fantastic books, but oh dear, the customer service...

Made a sizeable order 3 days ago, then created a customer account with them. Only then did a "15% off your first order as a new customer" promise appear on screen. I rang and queried this 2 days ago, requesting the discount. The girl I spoke to said she'd look into it and get back to me. She didn't, so I rang again today to be told they were refusing the discount and she'd "forgotten" to get back in touch to let me know this. She then hung up on me.

They won't reply to emails and it's been answer machine on the phone ever since...

I hope we at least get these books!!!

Recieved not trackinginformation. Waited MONTHS on my package. I have contacted customer services at least 8 times or something....my package got sent back they said, but it is still not on its way to me. They now do not respond to me anymore and it feels like they are just making up excuses like when they said the package was send back. I keep emailing them but now never recieve anything back. I still do not have my package which I paid a good amount of money for. It makes me really sad...
