I already had the equipment. Needed assistance.

Having already purchased a dome camera, NVR and cabling etc, I spent hours trying to configure it to view the footage on my phone and laptop while away from my home. I was totally stuck & about to give up when I Googled for local CCTV assistance.

My search found Dan at Cottingham CCTV which is in the same village. I rang Dan up and he was able to pop round to look at my setup. Within a few minutes he had it configured and running on my phone and laptop for remote viewing. Nobody incl Hikvision wanted to get involved without having to be registered

Dan installed a mesh system in our house to resolve our poor WiFi signal. Not only did it work perfectly, but the job was done quickly, and I found Dan to be such a fountain of knowledge that I asked for some advice about a CCTV system whilst he was doing it. The quote was more than reasonable, and he quickly had the CCTV up and running. Dan is a great guy. It's sometime a bit awkward having tradespeople in your house doing jobs, but he just got on with the job, cleared up his own mess and has a good sense of humour which always helps!
I had an issue with the CCTV app (my own fault) and reached out to Dan some months later. Instead of brushing me off with some text support, he actually turned up on my doorstep and resolved the issue for me. I was blown away by his exceptional customer service and the speed at which he responded.
I would highly recommend Dan. If you're in any doubt, read through his many Google reviews - which as someone else stated, look so good it seems like he has written them himself!!

Well what can we say. Talk about honest and going above and beyond. Had a faulty alarm that kept going off, got in touch with Cottingham CCTV to see if they could come out and service or repair it. Not only did Dan talk himself out of an easy call out fee, he talked us through what to do. I am not sure many people out there would have taken the time to do so, late in the evening. Would definitely recommend!

Just had CCTV fitted at my home I searched around for companies who could do the work Cottingham CCTV stood out head and shoulders above the rest
Dan has the energy and commitment of two people and wasn’t phased by what he needed to do and just got on with the job.
I wanted a local company who would give me what I wanted the reviews said it all which showed that everyone was happy with the service Cottingham CCTV offered and I am so glad I went with them.
from beginning to end Dan was there either by phone or text messages
Dan did a home survey we discussed options including no visible cables which Dan said he could do there was no hard sell and we agreed on what I wanted not like some companies who try and sell extras you don’t need or want and I was given a price for everything.
A few days later I decided that I wanted an extra camera and send Dan a text message to give me a new price which was done promptly and I was happy to go ahead with the installation with the extra work,
Dan send a text to confirm the appointment and attended promptly on the agreed date and time.
after the installation Dan set up the internet connection for me and the wife to view when we are away from the home
Dan set up all of the zones after we discussed options and adjusted the cameras to what I wanted he also setup the hard drive and showed us how everything worked before he went and said if we had any questions all we had to do was to give him a quick call
