Our lovely little break away
My husband , our dog Millie and myself had long awaited this little break away that we had booked months ago.
With everything packed ready to go on Monday 21st June.
During The early hours of the Sunday it was apparent that I was seriously unwell.
Unfortunately I do not remember much after that. I woke up in hospital, after My husband had called me an ambulance Sunday afternoon with Pneurmonia.
My husband phoned the number we had for owe little holiday and explained what had happened, and that of course we had no choice but to cancel. He was then given another number, then an email address, and then another email address All of this back abd forth whilst I was very poorly. Eventually we got a reply back , wishing me well but stating because we cancelled on the day that we should of arrived there was nothing that they could do to help us , ir was their policy. We do appreciate there are rules that have to be followed but on the other hand there should be some compassion shown when needed as well. A credit note or even a part of a credit note would of helped but unfortunately there was nothing , just an I am sorry email. So very disappointed.
