Cork Freediving & Snorkelling offers guided snorkel tours and freediving experiences along Cork's coastline, led by Cornelia. 🤿 The mission is simple: to help people connect with the sea in a calm, mindful, and unforgettable way, whether you are snorkelling for the first time or working towards building your experience, learning safe practices, and, most importantly, learning how to snorkel with marine life and in line with best practises when observing it. Wildlife comes first in everything we do. We follow a strict no-touch, non-invasive approach to observing wildlife, and we're committed to leaving every spot we visit better than we found it. Many of our trips also contribute to citizen science, helping build a clearer picture of what lives along Cork's and Ireland's coast. We run private and small-group guided tours tailored to each person's comfort and experience level, so no two trips look quite the same. For those wanting to go further, we also organise freediving coaching and workshops with certified instructors, aiming to grow a supportive freediving community here in Ireland. Cornelia has spent over five years exploring the region's (and Ireland's) sea throughout every season. She is a snorkel instructor, a certified freediver (SSI, Apnea Total, Molchanovs), and a certified PADI Snorkel Tour Guide. Vetted by Sport Ireland also. Whether you're chasing your first glimpse of a seal in the wild or looking to breathe easier underwater, we're here to guide you safely and respectfully. Follow along on Instagram and Facebook @cork_free_diving, or check our blog for regular updates, photos, and stories from the water. Enjoy the sea with us!🤿

This was an exceptional trip. Cornelia and Valentina were excellent guides. Safety was paramount. The pace was leisurely and a lot to see. Highly recommended.
We spent a magical morning snorkelling with Cornelia in West Cork. I was not prepared/expecting for what we discovered right on our doorstep. Turquoise water(we were lucky to have excellent conditions), a kaleidoscope of colour, kelp forests, an abundance of marine life...who knew?! Cornelia's vast knowledge and enthusiasm is infectious. She is a steady hand, any anxiety disappeared by the time we entered the water. We learned so much. An Incredible day!
I’ve been on 2 snorkelling tours so far and both of them have been great! The instructor is very knowledgeable and patient. I have also gotten to see lots of sea life on the tours! I’ll definitely be doing more tours, thanks again 🤩
