BEWARE OF CANCELLATIONS

BEWARE OF CANCELLATIONS! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS GYM TO ANYONE.. When we first signed up, we read the terrible reviews regarding cancellations and expressed our concern to the (manager at that time) who ensured us he would be flexible if we moved and not charge extra fees. He he has since left and new management will not honor that agreement. Make sure you get everything in writing.. they will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you signed up. Areas of Frustration: 1. During COVID they charged you even though the gym was closed! YOU WERE CHARGED FOR A PRODUCT THAT WAS NOT AVAILABLE TO YOU... sounds a lot like the law suit Washington Sports Club recently lost. 2. I am on a month to month contract. Was charged the $79 annual fee on the month I cancelled (was told the fee is for the following year that I will not be a member), plus I have to pay my membership dues $113, plus I have to pay a $25 cancellation fee... How is there is a cancellation fee when I'm not breaking my contract (I'm month to month) and I'm giving a 30 days notice. They will look for anyway to make a dollar. I regret not paying closer attention to the contract and trusting the words of their employees which clearly holds no weight. They're charging me $217+ for one month when I'm not even going to be in the city... Fine, then they should be reimbursing us for the months they were closed and we couldn't use the product we were all paying for. 3+ months they were closed and we still got charged and had to pay the annual fee... not sure how that is legal..
