Absolute lame
Absolute lame, useless, crappy, full of bugs. Absolutely bad user experience. Hard for any kind of use with doubtful and old information, which is practically useless. Don't recommend for any kind of use. One of the worst AIs that I ever used right away after Claude.ai
Copilot's answer to Spellcheck is a Travesty. How do I disable it?
As someone who generally wishes I could opt out of AI in all spheres, Copilot is not different. It works automatically while I am writing in MS Word, where its one goal seems to be making me retype everything five times because it "corrects" my words incorrectly. I type "hasn't", it changes it to "wasn't". I type "wouldn't", it changes it to "couldn't". I type "doesn't", it changes it to "doesn'tr". And here I am, with a postgraduate degree in language and writing, watching an AI tool incorrectly change the entire meaning I am trying to convey, if not all out spell words incorrectly... and I'm supposed to allow it? God help the people who actually need a tool like this, because I have a feeling it's steering them in the wrong direction.
Take this function off my Microsoft, please! Spellchecker was fine!
Utterly useless
Utterly useless
You can always rely on Microsoft to produce the worst in class for any software type. I tried yesterday to use it to check my formatting of a Word document. It deleted half of the stuff - header page, TOC, and the first 5 sections. Made numerous attempts using simple commands and gave up. It took me a fraction of the time to do the job manually. Microsoft has always led the field in its determination not to adequately test its software and it hasn't let itself down this time. When I told my friend he said "more fool you, Microsoft always produces shoddy software". Fair comment and I should have known better.
Unreliable information and cannot save data.
I liked it at first for simple tasks then decided to start writing out a daily schedule and more information that took quite some time, I invested hundreds of hours and it was my fault to trust the site/app to be able to simply save it. I know I should have copied and pasted it elsewhere but did not and now it is all gone. In 2025 I expect apps such as this to work, I use google docs and have never had this experience.
Then I was asking it about laptops and it was trying to convince me to buy an older model that cost more money and with worse specs that the one I was interested in.
Do not use this software.
MICROSOFT COPILOT: mistakes
Makes a lot of mistakes. Sometimes, he is stubborn. Writes bad jokes I didn't ask for. He thinks all his users are automatically "his friends". Makes a lot of mistakes in generating images as well. Sometimes, he refuses to generate images that are not inappropriate, he just doesn't want to: when I clean the chat and ask him again, he generates the image without problems. Microsoft is advertising this AI everywhere, for example Bing Search or on Windows 11, it can be disturbing.
Copilot pages: In the Copilot Pages, when I ask copilot to make a table on the page, he almost always fails to make the table, even when I ask many times. It would've been better if the user could make the table on the page without asking Copilot.

Ok for broad designs but comply misunderstand fine tuning instructions and comply changes the image each time. 9/10th of the time is spent trying to fix unsolicited changes. Pencil and paper is far quicker and easier to use.

I just started using Copilot a couple of weeks ago and I am very happy with it.
This is the first AI that I have ever used so I have nothing to compare CoPilot too.
In my situation CoPilot has been very helpful.
I like CoPilot and I will keep using it and keep learning.
Misleading Advice Led to Major Frustration with Cloud Service Signup
I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with the advice provided by Microsoft Copilot, which directly led to a significant issue during a critical signup process.
As a student, I was attempting to sign up for Oracle Cloud's Free Tier. My explicit and repeatedly stated requirement to Copilot was that I needed a USA IP address for my cloud resources, primarily for educational purposes requiring access to US-restricted services.
Despite clearly articulating this need, Copilot repeatedly advised me to choose India as my 'Home Region' for a faster signup process. Trusting this advice from an official Microsoft AI, I proceeded with the signup based on its recommendation.
Now, I find that Oracle Cloud's 'Always Free' resources are permanently tied to the Home Region selected during signup. This means all my free resources are locked to India, and I cannot obtain a USA IP for them without incurring significant costs, which is not feasible for a student like me without another credit card.
This experience has been incredibly frustrating. The advice provided by Copilot was not only unhelpful for my specific goal but actively detrimental, leading me into a situation that cannot be easily rectified. It failed to understand the critical implication of the 'Home Region' selection for Oracle's free tier and my specific need for a USA IP.
AI assistants are meant to be helpful, but in this instance, the generic advice completely ignored my nuanced requirements, resulting in a wasted effort and a service setup that does not meet my needs. I hope this feedback can help improve Copilot's ability to provide context-aware and accurate advice, especially when dealing with critical setup processes like cloud service signups.
It's absolute rubbish
This is the worst thing I could ever have, no choice to have it and can't get rid of it, I've uninstalled it and the box is still at the bottom of my screen telling me to talk to it. I DON'T WANT IT. Being 50 years old I just don't want Ai rubbish forced on me at every opportunity it because some idiot sitting at a desk decided otherwise. It over rides everything I want to do and is irritating to the point of no return. If I could have given minus stars I would have.

The worst AI on the market at the moment.
I think the lack of investment in AI will see a big drop in Microsofts ability as a future competitor.
This is possibly the worst AI program…
This is possibly the worst AI program since forever. ET on Atari can process better and make life more enjoyable. If you type in draft on copilot it will then delete what you wrote so when it takes you 8 pages 4 hours worth of work into a one page summary and not a draft in presentation format you cannot go back and get it because they decide to just delete what you wrote for no reason other than they can have something to read on the toilet and laugh at you for thinking Mircosoft cared about anyone.
Copilot cannot even understand basic enquiries
Copilot cannot even understand basic enquiries like “ where can I buy xxx” . It will instead give irrelevant replies for a different category of the item.
When I reply that your reply is not what I asked and is irrelevant it will describe the meaning irrelevant !

As an octogenarian faced with a new Winders 11 computer I really appreciate the easy availability of Copilot. It gives simple answers to questions about how to work with this horrid new operating system. Does Copilot mean that it copied a lot of data from everywhere before artificially thinking about how to cope with questions? Copilot can also compose silly poems - real ones that rhyme.
It's such an asset
It's such an asset , such a gift it allows your work to flow together by signposts and explanations. It's technology being used at its best. I think everyone should have access to it regardless of postal codes. Its a must for all ages. It is a great tool and works collaboratively with all platforms. It's a game changer that should be part of the education system and accessible to each and every human. It's a break through in technology. Embrace it. Enjoy it ! Move with the times ! Be proud of your era.

copilot no good goes round in circles for ages and still does not listen. its a joke a picture to mark an anniversary that is slightly blured and small to.ask for it clear it up.they totally change everything even when asked not to...when asking them to create a man in a van driving the man is sanding outside van with a steering wheel in his hand even when you told copilot that you want. total disgrace..........

It was working great last week
It was working great last week, felt like a true partner in my workplace, helping with ideas. But suddenly, things have taken a turn for the worse. Now, instead of following instructions precisely, it’s going off-track, doing its own thing. Whether I ask it to fix my email content or simply rephrase something, it’s overcomplicating responses, adding unnecessary details and headings when I don’t ask for them. Honestly, the experience has been frustrating, it’s making my tasks harder instead of easier, and I can’t even fully describe how much it’s been stressing me out.
