Signed up for a trial - cheap. However, renewal has been taken automatically without any email notification and it was by chance that I spotted it on my credit card.

I suspect it is technically legal but it is sharp practice to take money automatically without notifying the custojmer.

So bad, it is a scam, they just stole your money. You pay 50 cent and after that they subscribe you without your permission and take 30€ per month from your account. Very bad.

Same scam as all the others. The sad thing is that the consumers protection institutions just let this be, even though it's clearly an abuse.

Scamers! They haven't either sent me an email with the document needed to be converted or details on my login so they basically charged me for nothing and out of the blue so without my knowledge or consent I was charged 40 euros 2 days later. When I checked online and tried to login with my email, I made a request for a new password but the email to reset it was never sent.

Scam, they inform you your conversion costs 0.50 cents and then later they take €30 for monthly subscription out of your account without letting you know. They never indicated I was signing up for a subscription. You can luckily cancel the subscription but they don’t refund you as they say you agreed with the terms… well let it be a good lesson and hope other people do check reviews first 😅😅

Scam, they take 1 month subscription after the first conversion.
Conversion is not good, actually they make like a text paste excel.
Also I realised very soon that they charged me for an unsollicited monthly subscription and requested refund even with a small penalty, if needed.
They refused the refund.
Even if I requested it in less than 24 hrs from the moment they took my money.

Like many people here, I also did a one-time payment for a file I needed converted and I was surprised to discover they have been deducting 29 Euros from my account every month since then. I am outraged by their awful approach.

I tried to convert a file for 50 cents which did not work and they used my credit card's information to push me a subscription that I never needed or intended to do. From January on they have been charging me 29 euro each month, by today they have taken 145 euro from my credit card and I have not even noticed. It was not at all clear that after 48 hours they would charge 29 euro extra and the fact that i tried to convert one file would be considered as a subscription. I have not agreed to any kind of subscription, I have not used this thing any longer. I am so angry. This is theft.
Update: After sending more than five Emails, Convpro returned only 58 Euros to my credit card in two separate transactions, eventhough I explained them that they have taken 5×29 Euros which are 145 Euros. I informed my credit company, they have started investigating this case. In addition I have filed a complaint at European Consumer Center Germany (ECC Germany). I won't withdraw any of them until they return 100 % of my money.
New Update: My bank managed to chargeback only 29 Euros. That means Convpro.net still owes me 58 Euros, if they want me to remove this review, they must return it.

Convpro keeps lying that this review is not about them and that it should be removed. No wonder! That's what scammers do. This review is definitely about Convpro.

I could not change the files I wanted and was charged for a subscription without warning after 48 hours. When I contacted them within minutes of the charge they refused to reimburse me. Most companies allow a refund if requested within 24 hours of the charge. Would not recommend

I’ve converted a file for 50 cents and they took £25 from me from my card the month for a so-called subscription I never agreed on. This is a scam company and the company knows it, it does it intentionally to its customers. I’ll dispute the transaction with my bank and will go after them. Avoid these scammers

This is incredible, you pay 50 cents for 48 hours of service but they don't mention that you are automatically subscribed and they take 29 euros per month from you, without letting you know. That's a lot of money for nothing. Thieves, liars and scums.
