The course I booked was average and realistically nothing in it that couldn’t be found on the internet anyway .. My problem started when purchasing their template products which require Adobe specific software to function ..I opted for a monthly payment plan and after a day I cancelled it ..This company keeps taking money from my bank account despite cancellation and contacting them personally ..Cannot get anyone on the other end and to stop these thefts and I would be wary of this company.I live in Europe and fortunately we have laws against this sort of activity so I have reported them to trading standards.

Hello! I'm sorry to hear about your experience but we will 1000% make this right. If you are still being charged we will reverse that and refund every penny back to you. We are always dedicated to giving every customer an amazing experience. I don't want to share my personal email here but if you want to DM me on instagram (@_anthonygallo) I will personally solve this with you. Otherwise our support@contentcreator.com email has a full team behind it. Unless your email is somehow going to spam we should see it!

Also in regard to your comments about the course being average, I think if you really dive deep into the content you'll see just how thorough it really is! The first few videos lay the basics for beginners but we go crazy deep after that. If all you did was watch the first few videos it's not representative of the total value that is included in the course. Also we host weekly live Q&A calls where we can personally chat and design a plan for you. You get lifetime access to this with your one time $48 payment which we think is more value than any other course in the industry.

Long story short, we really care about our products and students and want to ensure you're happy. If you reach out to me (anthony) personally, I will do anything I can to help you.

Amazing value for a true beginner

Amazing value for a true beginner. I have only gotten through the smartphone filmmaker course as that is what is most relevant to my business at this time. The videos are well-made and give you all the basics and walk you through ways to not only pick out your equipment, but how to use it. They have some great support channels too. They make solid recommendations from budget to high end and even pro equipment/programs. They never made me feel like I needed to go buy new equipment though. The lessons with filming from just a phone and tripod all the way to a full setup and a few options in between were invaluable. The camera and editing platform walkthroughs are great and the insights on sound design and how to make an interesting video sparked my imagination and our content is definitely getting better, faster than it has over 4 years of working on these skills. The challenges that they give are fun and while I haven't finished the edits on the few I have for the course, I think that I will now that I have completed the editing platform walkthrough. This has given me so many ideas and things to try to get our content to that next level and the price is unbeatable.

I'm only going through 3% of the content of this course and the truth is I'm very happy with it, I wasted many hours on YouTube looking for free content but I wasn't satisfied, then Anthony appeared with an ad and it has been the smartest investment I could make. I am excited to know that I still have more content from this course to consume and practice. With just one module, my videos look more Pro! Thanks Anthony...PS I don't speak English, only Spanish and I do the entire course with simultaneous translation using an app, so the limits are in the mind.

Incredible value for money BUT disorganised and with out of date videos all over the place

I had to think long and hard before rating this course. There are an insane amount of videos and at the asking price of $48 (a "limited time offer" that seems to have been in place for 3 years now!) it's a complete steal given the work put into it.

The Facebook forum with its weekly livestream for Q&As is included and it alone is worth the asking price.

BUT the material is haphazard and disorganised. It appears to have originated from different sources over the last four years, with no real tidy up aside from an occasional messily inserted update video which is then contradicted by all the videos that follow. There are a LOT of typos in the on-screen titles too. Somebody needs to get themseves a proof-reader!

The instructor is knowledgeable, charismatic, easy on the eye, and the videos are mostly REALLY well scripted and put together. The amount of material covered is astonishing and mostly high quality, although I felt advice given about frame rates was downright misleading for those of us that live in Europe rather than the USA (because it completely ignored the fact that in Europe we have 50Hz light systems and so 25/50 fps NOT 30/60fps should be the rule) but other than that, the advice, when it was up to date (which sometimes it wasn't), was excellent. This guy knows his stuff and, more importantly, knows how to teach it. Which is what makes the weaknesses so frustrating.

Some examples of the disorganised out-of-date nature of it: Go to the "Lighting" day and for no apparently reason the 20 minute video will suddenly give you 10 minutes all about audio. Many other sections go similarly off topic and when one's completed the whole course it feels like three different videos on the exact same subject with an almost identical script were presented just because they had been recorded at the time and nobody wanted to edit things down for a more cohesive course structure. There is a lot of repetition, and the course is, sadly, showing its age.

The attempts to update it by adding in one or two update v don't really help.

Take smartphone camera apps. A video near the start of the different tutorials basically says BlackMagic Camera App (released in August 2023) is the best app. It's compared to BeastCam with the summary that BlackMagic is better, not least because it's free whereas BeastCam costs money. FilmMaker Pro is quickly dismissed (rightly) becaues it went from being the market leader a few years ago to a rip off subscription model when new owners took over and everybody abandoned it. All well and good. But then the rest of the videos are so old they keep recommending BeastCam as the best app to use over and over again. Filmic Pro, the app the instructor just told you was over and so no tutorial, is used with its own unique steps explained in several videos despite having been ruled out earlier. Gimbals fare similarly badly. There's a long video on the DJI OM-5, but it was superceded by the OM-6 with minor updates a year later, so there's an equally long video on that too which is pretty much just a duplicate re-recording (and a very long one at that). And yet no mention of what is currently the best gymbal for smartphones (because it's the only one supported by the BlackMagic App and has new innovative tracking features the OM series don't have) the iFlow 360, despite the fact the course author has made an excellent video saying just that on a free YouTube video.

The author contradicts himself too. He emphasises that everything turned around for him when he went to look for a mentor and paid him to help him succeed. But later in the course, he admits that the initial course was a disaster and lost a ton of money. Wouldn't a normal person fire the mentor they'd paid to make something a success instead of saying "OK. What shall we try next?" It doesn't add up, which is bad when you're effectively using this course as the "gateway drug" to sell other, far more expensive courses (which from the trailers seem to reuse whole sections of THIS course).

And this is why my review dropped from an initial 5 stars to 3 stars, despite the huge amount of effort and knowledge put into the course. Looking at the very polished free videos on YouTube I realised that you could actually replace pretty much the whole of the content of the paid for course with the more polished and up to date free videos on YouTube. If, as claimed, the course has sold to 140,000 students (and this seems a little dubious given that when parts of the course were made talking about 30,000 students enrolled screen shots for the associated closed Facebook group show the exact same number of members as today of around 30,000 despite the claimed "I made over a million from this course" sales pitch to encourage people to pay for the associated Course Content Creator course.

So much value for a low price

So much value for a low price. I can honestly say I learned more about content creation in this course than I did during my bachelor's degree.
And I am impressed by the good customer support.
