Public Call to Action & Formal…

Public Call to Action & Formal Grievance
Headline: 3 YEARS & $25,000 PAID — NO RESOLUTIONS. SEEKING OTHERS FOR GROUP LEGAL ACTION.

I am writing this to express my extreme frustration and to find others in my exact situation. I have been with Consumer Legal Group for 3 years now. When I signed up, I was promised that my debt would be resolved within 18 to 24 months.

The Reality of My Experience:

Financial Loss: I have paid over $25,000 into this program.

Zero Results: Not a single one of my accounts has been resolved.

Legal Danger: I currently have "Legal Proceedings Underway" from creditors like Bank of America and Citi. I am the one having to send letters and do the work while the firm stays silent.

Damaged Life: My credit score is worse than when I started, and the stress is overwhelming.

I was promised professional legal help, but after 3 years, I have nothing to show for it but less money and more legal threats.

TO OTHERS IN THIS POSITION:
I am looking for a lawyer or a group of people who are in this same boat and want to sue for fraud and a full refund. If you have paid thousands with no results and are tired of the broken promises, please reach out or reply. We need to hold them accountable as a group.

TO CONSUMER LEGAL GROUP: Explain why I am 3 years into a "24-month" program with $25,000 gone and zero settlements. I am formally requesting a response regarding a full refund of my fees due to non-performance.

UPDATE [March 17, 2026]: The company's claim that they cannot "locate a file" is false. You have my registered email address associated with this account and our prior correspondence. If you truly wish to "address my concerns," you can search your database for my email and process the full refund I am owed for non-performance.
I am posting this publicly to hold Consumerlegalgroup accountable. I have my signed agreement and payment receipts ready. Stop using "cannot locate file" as a tactic to avoid issuing refunds. I expect a response to my email regarding the status of my refund immediately.

Consumer Legal Group is fraudulent

I put a stopper on the account after they withdrew funds. Previously, I was misled into the program in the first place and paid thousands of dollars into the program which was a joke. The Debt Validation industry is a scam. They only give you instructions on how to represent yourself in court (which they probably use AI to do) They write letters to your creditors not to bother you is about it. If you've been scammed like I have and want to start a class action suit for fraud against CLG...
Look me up on IG as The Foil Alien.

I know I'm not alone and I warn any and everyone not to enroll your debt in this program because your creditors will come after you regardless especially if you owe over 5 K.

I have been working with CLG for about…

I have been working with CLG for about 2 years now. They have been very cooperative on the 2 occasions that I have asked that a payment be moved to the end of my contract, in otherwords I needed to skip a payment. They have been diligent in their efforts to resolve my debt issues and have kept me apprised of the status of all of my accounts as they have changed. If you find yourself drowning in debt I highly recommend them. They have never been judgemental, and that alone is priceless

I am happy with the results

I am glad I was contacted by Consumer Legal Group to help take care of my high credit card debt.
I thought it would all go away as they explained that would happen. My credit card unfortunately wanted to take me to court and I was told to walk away and let them attempt to collect payment from me. I have no money they can collect from me do thry are just stuck out there with a CC debt unable to be called on.
They helped get rid of the debt do I am happy for their help. I would do it again but I may do it a bit different.

I started working with them 18 months ago. There was someone who spoke the same language as me. After that, I had some questions and couldn't find the same person who spoke the same language, so I didn't know what to do. I asked the company to find someone who spoke the same language, but they couldn't. So, I found myself in a situation where I was under a lot of pressure and didn't know what to do. I was paying the monthly amount, so I felt under a lot of pressure. I didn't know what to do or who to talk to to find out what they were doing.😢😢

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. It takes months to get anyone to call you back. We have been in the program for over 3 years and only one account has been resolved and I had to pay the full amount to get it resolved. So Consumer Legal Group didn't do anything for this one as we basically paid double for this account. Who knows what's going on with the other accounts as I can't get anyone to give me an update

I had got myself into a mess and I found Consumer Legal Group and they took all the worry off from me I just couldn’t pay any more so they helped me out and still are helping me so take my advice and call Consumer Legal Group

Consumer Legal is extremely misleading…

Consumer Legal is extremely misleading and misrepresentative. They make you believe they can negotiate with your creditors in a way that will eliminate your debt — but this is simply not true. In reality, creditors are actually more likely to sue you when Consumer Legal is involved. The money you pay them would be far better used negotiating directly with your creditors yourself. Save your time, money, and stress — avoid Consumer Legal at all costs.

I ended up paying them just as much as i owed-- and i STILL had to pay the debt - so I doubled my debt by signing up.
