We contracted Constructum Code after getting various quotes from other companies to knock through a load bearing wall in our house and put in a steel beam on new brick piers.

Ben visited us to discuss the work beforehand and came across as very knowledgeable and we were given a very reasonable quote in writing. Ben highlighted areas of potential difficulty in advance based on his experience and proposed solutions which ensured there were no surprises or additional charges once work had started.

The team on site were extremely polite and professional, led by Arvis who came across as very experienced and ensured that the work was done to a high standard. They were hard working and went above and beyond, adding in extra stud work for free which was not included in the original quote and particularly with the clean up. They even helped me clear up debris from other work ongoing in the house.

The communication from the team over the phone and by email were exceptionally professional and responsive throughout the project, as well as the contracting and invoicing documentation.

Overall the experience was stress free as this company was exceptionally professional and reliable and I would not hesitate to use them again.

They did my kitchen extension and did a really good job. They’re a good-sized company — small enough to be flexible and tailor things to your needs, but big enough to maintain proper quality standards. No cowboys on their team.

Construction Code did a great kitchen extension for us. The project was long and full of challenges but Ben managed all aspects impeccably and kept us informed through every stage. We also really appreciated his honesty as he tried to guide us to the most cost effective and quality solution as opposed to just the most expensive. Any issues that arose or things we spotted that needed fixing, he sent his team to rectify asap. The result...a fabulous kitchen lounge extension with a separate shower room and utility. It's been a lot but we're thrilled with how it's turned out.

Construction work on our loft was completed in February 2024. Based on an individual project. The loft is relatively small 135 m2. It took 4 months from the first contact to the company to the acceptance certificate for the delivery of work. The construction was clearly organized, all difficult situations that arose were resolved quickly. The house turned out to be good.
