Just because a company agrees to give you 0% interest while through the program be aware that interest and fees doesn't go away you will still need to pay that interest and fees the creditor will go after you after you have completed the program for the outstanding fees and interest they don't go away you still have to to pay them just later after you thought everything was paid

My initial dealings with Consolidated…
My initial dealings with Consolidated Credit Canada were positive. The first communications by phone in setting up the account and payment plan were great and the person I dealt with very helpful. From thereon, the service took a nose dive. Their member portal website is set up poorly, and have found it to not function properly. Several times I attempted to either reschedule an upcoming payment or make an extra payment, and neither payment would be taken, making it necessary to contact them to see what the issue was. They would advise that they had no record of either and I would have to verbally make the request or attempt to use their chat service, which 90% of the time is "unavailable". I'm hoping the service and website show some improvement, but at the moment I am regretting my decision to use this company.

An invaluable service for debt management
They have been a saving grace for me; their service has been invaluable. Before contact Consolidated Credit I had over 30k in debt and even making over 1000.00 in payments every month, after 2 years my debt had only decreased by 5000.00. Consolidated Credit Counseling helped develop a debt management plan that would have my overall debt taken care of in 36 months; their assistance pulled me out of a borderline depression and I would recommend their services to anyone who has been dealing with crushing debt.

The agent explained all my options and then recommended the payment plan. Then they made agreements with all my credit cards and one by one I got letters of agreement back from them and now I'm on track to pay off my debt!
