Driver didn't show and Connect-to-transfer did not respond quickly
We booked, over a month in advance, a ride to the Nice airport from our home about an hour away for a 7:45 am pick-up. We received an update the day before with the drivers mobile number. When the driver was not there at 7:45 we dialed his/her number- they did not pick-up. I immediately called the Connect to transfer number and was put on automatic hold. In the meantime, we tried to find a taxi- not available at the last minute in our town- and also an Uber- which was over 30 min away. Meanwhile, we stayed on hold with Connect to transfer line and finally talked to someone, who put us on hold again, and came back 10 min later and told us the driver was not showing up. By this time, it was getting extremely late and we had no options left for us. In the end, the flight was missed and there were no more direct flights to our destination. We had to purchase a new airline ticket and both of us lost a day of work. Connect to transfer has not even yet reimbursed us for the ride cost which we paid in advance and will not cover any of the additional expenses. So, a completely unreliable service with a company that does not care about keeping its customers.
