Very disappointed with the private healthcare
I recently booked a private healthcare service in Estonia, paying with the expectation of high-quality, multilingual care. Unfortunately I encountered several significant issues:
1. We specifically a times lot with a nurse who several speaks, but the nurse was replaced and tfe one who arrived did not speak that language as we had booked. This meant communication was poor from the very start.
2. After tests were carried out, the results were not sent to us as promised — we had to attend the clinic in person to collect them, which was inconvenient and led to delays.
3. A follow-up consultation with the doctor was scheduled, but the doctor failed to call us at the agreed time, despite us having verified our phone number multiple times with three different consultants on site. The doctor later sent an apology email claiming they could not reach us by phone.
Overall, for a paid private healthcare service, this was a very frustrating experience. The lack of language-appropriate staff, the extra effort required by us to obtain results, and the missed doctor call all undermined our confidence. I hope the clinic seriously reviews its processes (staff assignment, results delivery, communication) so other patients don’t go through the same.
