So when I reached out to CommonWealth for assistance with my debt, they jumped thru hoops to make the process very easy to apply for.
Once approved they came to my residence and we went over the debt, what the process would be and how much I could afford on a monthly basis. Once the contract was signed, they took over and contacted the creditors that they had taken over the debt and would work to reduce what was owed due to interest that would continue to increase.
I then starting recieving communications from Common Wealth that they had started the process and wasn't long before they called and told me that had reached a settlement with the 1st CC that was part if the program, it was settled for 50% less than what was owed!
That continued for the next 48 months and as of today my account has been closed with all debts satisfied, some monies coming back to me and my credit rating is now in a good rating, instead if the poor rating that I had when I reached out to them back in 2019.
If you are thinking about reducing your debt, I give this company an A1 rating....Special shout out to Stephanie H, always there to answer questions or let me know that they had reached another settlement, usually 50% or more!!

Over four years ago, we were in dire financial straights. In debt for $90K, of course we could file to get out of that, but who really wants to go through that and, yes, we dug that hole, why not actually take responsibility for the situation. We found LENDAH and COMMONWEALTH. They walked us through the whole process, took care of us and now, were paying everything off in a structured settlement. I don't know what I would have done without Stephanie Howard and all of the crew at Commonwealth. I accumulated a large amount of debt helping to take care of three close family members durring their fatal health issues. Commonwealth helped reduce my debt and set up a managable plan to pay it off in four years. It was tough especially when COVID closed my office and I was put on furlough for a couple of months. Through it all Stephanie Howard helped me manage my payments and kept me going on schedule. Now four years later and a mountian of debt gone I can feel more confident in my financial future. It may feel like an uphill and slow process at first but if you follow the program they set up for you and make the payments on time the stress it takes off of your life is worth it!

For three years I have worked with Commonwealth to pay off extensive debt accrued during my wife's lengthy illness. Great company to work with. The plan was laid out in great detail and everything was exactly as promised. Whenever we emailed, called, etc, our questions were always answered quickly and completely. Everyone was very courteous and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and encouraged! Would definitely recommend this company to anyone!!!

I am so incredibly happy with my experience with Commonwealth. Not only did they handle everything in a timely manner but they were always willing to speak with me and answer any questions I had. I was notified 2 days ago that all of my accounts have been paid satisfactorily ahead of time. I’m so happy and thankful! I could not have done this on my own!

I agree with the negative reviews below. Here are the facts. I paid CSG over $9000 to settle $14,000 of debt. Does that sound like a good deal to you? Yeah me neither. You can do this yourself. Call the card company. Tell them to close the account & stop charging you interest. They will offer you a cash payout (around 70% of what you owe). If you don't have the lump sum ask them to put you on a payment plan.

My experience with Commonwealth was wonderful, particularly my negotiator Michelle! They worked extremely hard to get everything settled fairly and in a timely manner. I feel like they really cared about my outcome and overall financial health. I was in a bad situation because of divorce and they definitely helped me reset. I’m now able to move forward with a clear financial path! So many thanks to all involved at Commonwealth and especially Michelle!

When I found Commonwealth Servicing Group my finances were a total mess. I had made every effort to pay my credit card bills which were several thousand dollars a month, and I was not cutting into the balances. Commonwealth took all my debt and allowed me to make 1 payment a month, and they negotiated with all my creditors. I am now debt free.

Not so fast on the good reviews , I’m totally disheartening they don’t contact me when my client rep changes or don’t return my messages I settled with one collector they filed court papers was told I didn’t have to go to court only a eek later received a letter that I must report to court as I missed my first appearance contact the attorney and my contact with no answers . Why are they not answering me when I as nervous about my first appearance and contacts them 2 times prior

Glad for the help but they are never very forthcoming about anything and I only hear from them when something goes wrong with my account. All of a sudden they extend my account and are putting one of my accounts on hold till the end to accumulate money!!! How about you keep your hands out of my account and work with the creditors like you're supposed to. One account brought me to court. That was supposed to make my debt be solved quicker. Apparently not !! Companies like this are never the best solution. I wanted to be a good person and pay back what I could. Next time it'll be bankruptcy. Not that I will ever let it happen again mind you. Can't wait for the last payment to be taken.

If I could give no stars, I would. After paying $386 a month for 11 months, they paid $1100 to one of my creditors. Nothing to anyone else. I was told I had $180 in my account. I told them to cancel and send me a check. The next day they said it was a mistake and I had 0 in my account. They kept $3186 for themselves. What a rip off! Don't believe their speel!

I am helping someone that contracted with the the Commonwealth Law Group for debt relief services. This a company that preys on people that are already in a poor financial position often due to their poor understanding of money management. Whenever a contract is 85% focused on what the law firm is not responsible for, 10% what you are required to pay, and only 5% on what they are actually required to do you should know to run, but they are seeking clients that already down on their luck. Also previous copies of contracts had much lower legal fees and charge outrageous $5 fees for any creditor payment and $12 fee for 2 day delivery of payment.

Run from this company - they dropped the ball with one of my accounts and tried to bully me into paying a higher fee!

I was looking for solutions for my debt, which had become overwhelming for me. I stumbled upon The Commonwealth Group and I'm so relieved that I did! They were able to help me at a critical time. I have been working with Stephanie H. as my adviser ... she is great! She is always quick in responding to me and has provided excellent guidance. In addition, I've had 3 accounts now that are being settled. Commonwealth has been working for me--which is something I needed given I'm a single working parent who wouldn't have the time or energy to do this on my own. Though I have a ways to go, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I'll look forward to posting another review at the end of the process!

I have been working with Anthony Parisi and he has been great! i email him with any questions and he gets right back to me call and emails at that. He has really really helped me through out this whole process and i couldn't appreciate it more! He has been great and i recommend him and this company to anybody who really needs help with their debt.
