My car was taken to Colourcraft Autos / Body repair management as part of an insurance claim. Communication throughout was inconsistent. I was told different completion dates, and messages were often not responded to. On the date I expected an update, I found it very difficult to get through to anyone, and calls were not returned.
Four days after the repair was completed, I was informed that my vehicle had been destroyed in a fire at the premises. When I tried to contact the garage for clarification and photographs, I received no reply. I had to rely on my insurer to eventually obtain a single photograph more than a month later.
The lack of communication during such a serious incident has been extremely stressful and left me without essential information at a crucial time. I hope the garage improves communication with customers and insurers going forward.
