Coventry branch- I obtained the…

Coventry branch- I obtained the accommodation in March; however, they insisted on collecting payment from January, even though I had not even considered applying for the accommodation at that time. When that attempt failed, they demanded payment for the remainder of the tenancy, despite the fact that I had to leave the apartment due to numerous inconsistencies on their part. You would not believe that, after nearly three to four years, they contacted me again, requesting another miscellaneous payment, even though they are fully aware that I owe them nothing.

The most shitty accommodation in…

The most shitty accommodation in Coventry. I was scheduled at 3pm for appointment and I received my card (key) after 4 hours and when i entered with a fresh mindset hoping it to be absolutely spotless, I was disheartened to see it wasn’t upto mark. There was literally no space to enter.
The management wasn’t correct and everything was haywire and could have been done so much better.

Absolutely disappointing.

Hello i am writing a complaint to colligate

to whom it may concern

I am writing to express my concern upon hearing about the dismissal of one of our best managers, Kay. Many of us believe this decision constitutes unfair dismissal, given the significant impact she has had on Collegiate and the invaluable assistance she has provided to residents like myself.

Kay has consistently gone above and beyond to address our concerns and resolve any issues we have faced. She has been an integral part of the community, ensuring that residents feel supported and heard. Her professionalism and dedication have not gone unnoticed, and she has truly set a standard for exceptional management.

On one occasion, I personally witnessed Kay at the desk in tears, explaining that she was feeling overwhelmed. This was deeply concerning, and I believe it highlights the pressure she was under, likely due to the heavy responsibilities she managed. Despite these challenges, she remained committed to her role and continued to provide the support we relied on.

We strongly urge you to reconsider this decision and reinstate Kay as our manager. She has been the only manager who consistently resolved our issues effectively and treated residents with genuine care and respect. Losing her would be a significant loss to the community and to Collegiate as a whole.

Thank you for taking the time to consider this matter. I hope you will review this decision with the community's needs in mind.

Worst company ever

The worst company I have ever dealt with. They do not respond to emails or voice mails. Even after making an official complaint and being guaranteed a response within 7 days, I have heard nothing. The standard of accommodation at Bagot Street is appalling. Customer Service is non-existent. There is no concern for the well being of their residents. They have taken my daughter's money and have not met their accommodation commitments. Do not use this company for student accommodation!!

Non-existent customer service

It is impossible to contact them. Due to a student visa issue, we need to contact them to negotiate the cancellation of the reservation or a transfer of the contract as stipulated by the terms of the contract. But they do not answer the phone number on the website, or the emails, nor do they respond to the contact forms listed in the contract. Unable to contact them, trying for a week now. The customer service is terrible.

My daughter and I have had the worst…

My daughter and I have had the worst experience with this company.
My daughter is unable to go ahead with the accommodation and when I rang up I spoke to rude advisor who answered “What is it? I’m listening go on! “
I explained my situation but he was rude and dismissive . I emailed in with no replies and asked to cancel the booking as my daughter won’t be staying here and no reply from the company. Also no reply on return of deposit. It seems like all other reviews once they have your money you never hear from then again.
I’m going to complain to the ombudsman .

Thieves, Robber and Liars

This company bribes universities to ensure the students forcibly pays them. They lure students with pretty pictures and once they’ve got your bank details it’s all just about changing info on their website to say you gave them permission to steal as much as they want. It’s a trap filled with racist lying thieves that do NOT care for your wellbeing. I’ve suffered intense ptsd over these criminals and I can’t believe they are still operating. There’s no integrity in this business as they’ve had their google reviews removed to lure in more victims. What they don’t advertise is that many students kill themselves in their fake luxury halls and the staff will literally tell you to your face that they fell reasonable with their inhumanity. If there was any justice in this world the board leaders and execs would be hung. I can’t believe a company that profits on stealing and indirectly harming students is still operating. You will never meet a group of people who idolise financial theft that in the collegiate group.

10 reasons why NOT to stay at Corporation Village!

There are 10,000 reasons why not to stay at this place AT ALL!

Firstly, I originally applied for a plus studio and on arrival, I was given a smaller room which was unclean, had a broken wardrobe and food left in there. I was moved into the right room but was harassed to pay more than I was suppose to, which was unfair and disrespectful.

On the other hand, here are the real reasons to not stay at this cheap a$$ studio accommodation:
1. THERE IS NO OVEN
2. THE BATHROOM IS THE SIZE OF AN AIRPLANE BATHROOM
3. THERE IS ONLY 1 HOOVER TO SHARE BETWEEN THE WHOLE BUILDING
4. THE SINK IS IN THE CORNER AND IS HARD TO GET TO (Causing back pain)
5. THE FIRE ALARM GOES OFF EVERYDAY
6. THE WATER IS EXTREMELY DIRTY (Causing bad acne and unclean skin)
7. THERE IS ONLY 1 LIFT THAT WORKS AND TAKES FOREVER TO OPEN
8. THE HEATER IS PLACED RIGHT UNDER THE DESK (Causing small bumps on my skin)
9. THE HEATER TURNS OFF AFTER A FEW HOURS (Leaving the room extremely cold at night)
10. THE WHOLE PLACE IS FAKE AND IS A SCAM!

Rebooker discounts not honoured. Pillarbox coventry

I rebooked my room here as an offer was advertised around the accommodation for a £500 rebooker discount for 2023/2024, which would be credited to your collegiate account in Dec 2023. This did not happen. When I asked the manager about this, she said she was new and knew nothing about the offer but would chase it up. This was months ago, and she has stopped responding to my emails. I wouldn't have rebooked here if I'd known the offer would not be honoured. The lift also never works.

I moved in here on Sept 22, and since then, the lift has worked for about 4 weeks in total on and off. Not great for a building with 6 floors. Doors are often broken, meaning anyone can enter the building from the busy high street

An amazing accommodation!

I have loved living at Granary Studios Collegiate over the last two years. The staff have been lovely and really accommodating. The accommodation is always lovely and clean and well kept by the staff working.
The wifi could be better, but thats an ask 4 problem. Events are well run and frequent. Student wardens and security make the place secure in the evening. The CSA at Granary really sells the place and makes it enjoyable for all. Overall, would definitely recommend Collegiate Granary Studios.

Pillar Box, Coventry. Please Beware!!!

Grandson had serious leak in his room, they didn't move him until electricity cut out, water was pooling on the floor, pouring in through the fire alarm, and bathroom vent. He moved to a new room but they refused to help him move because they were short staffed. They left his old room unsecured with door off and didn't notify him. He had valuable possessions inside that could have easily been taken. Six days later the leak still hadn't been fixed,water was pooling down into large waste bins, and water was leaking into the corridor from ceiling. I was worried about the safety of all the tenants and the fire risk because of such a serious leak. Then on 11 March, he seriously cut his hand, out of hours said they would come to assist but didn't. He had to walk to walk in centre and they sent him straight to hospital where he had to have nerve repair surgery. Then on the following Sun there was no electric in building and the water supply had been cut off. When we arrived building was in complete darkness with alarms going off. We had to use the phones on our torches to see where we were going. The doors were open so any one could have walked in, and there was no sign of security or management. The notification of planned electrical works taking place had not been passed on to tenants by Pillar Box. There was also no water supply. Pillarbox said that it was only my grandson who didn't have a water supply, but I don't believe that. He had to leave this accommodation because it was so bad. Please pay the extra and rent somewhere decent.

Granary Studios- Collegiate

Granary Studios

A great student experience with staff that care and complete any tasks in reasonable time. When a task gets delayed for parts etc I am always keeps in the loop. I have always felt the accommodation puts the resident first and we all feel like a very much loved family. Overall very happy to be living here and couldn’t recommend enough.

They deserve 1/2 star

If it's possible to give these fraudulent people 1/2 star I would. I booked a room with them and canceled the next day when I discovered the payment plan was not for me. It's been over a month now and they've not returned my money. I can see a lot of people have made similar complaints and as it is, I know they don't care about the 1-star reviews, however, I'll go to any length to tell the world not to ever do business with this fraudulent company. They told me 10 working days but they've refused to respond to my emails. If it's possible I think we should all come together to write a petition against them or sue them.

WORST ACCOMMODATION EVER
Their service is the worst. They will not fix any broken stuff in your flat for ages. They are extremely rude to the students and they dont bother listening to the complaints. They do not keep the place tidy and often there is no one at the reception. This is by far the worst place to live in, please dont choose this accommodation. They dont answer calls or help students in any maintenance issue in the flat or the room. They never fix the elevators, 2 out of 3 elevators are always not in service

Worst Accomadation Ever.

This is about Clarendon Street, Nottingham.

I've lived at different student accommodations and this was by a mile the absolute worst one. The heating doesn't work and they won't fix it no matter how many people ask or how many times you ask. It's freezing cold in winter and boiling hot in summer. The lifts don't work and they have made no effort to fix it in the past six months. The hot water was cut off for three weeks. The staff don't listen to maintenance complaints and don't seem to care at all about the residents or the fact that many of them are paying 10K a year to live there and are students. They keep coming into the rooms with little notice. For the amount you pay, the kitchen and toilet is small. You can get much better standards of living for less money anywhere else in Nottingham, do not waste your money here please. You'll be miserable and counting down the days to leave. I feel like I am owed a refund for how terrible my experience was and hope no one makes the same mistake I made by choosing to live here.
