Great experience

As a Solo-preneur, Collective has made running the backend of my business SO MUCH easier/cleaner. From making sure I'm doing the right financial tracking to streamlining taxes, payroll, expenses, and foreign entity registration, it has become a must-have!

Clean & intuitive system and onboarding, with high-quality service level (responsive within 24 hours, if not hours). Have not gone through tax season with them yet but feeling confident so far in their accounting and tax strategy capabilities. My onboarding manager was Shobi, who particularly was pleasant and detailed.

I received a call from the representative (an actual accountant) less than 24 hours after I asked a question. She was really helpful and answered numerous questions for me.

I finally made the change and went with Collective to get my business S Corp ready and operating. I was nervous in the beginning not sure what to expect with an essentially all in one company, but it has been amazing. The staff is all wonderful, very quick to respond and extremely helpful. Jean, Megan, Jihadah, Brittney, Hannah and Travis have all been SO wonderful. Everyone is there to help you and I ask SO many questions. I use the messenger constantly, but they are always quick to respond and give me updates promptly and answer my questions in the most reasonable amounts of time. It's incredible how complex running what appears to be a simple business really is. Between federal and state taxes, various filings, etc., it's just a complete jungle that would be difficult to manage without professional help.

For the price, I think Collective is a very good offering. They could do a little bit more, in my view, especially with some of the new AI tools. I could imagine them rolling out to automate the true last mile of every little payment to tax authorities or checking on documentation. Some of that is still, unfortunately, kind of manual, but they stay on top of it and assign account executives to ensure you're getting things done.

I also have to say that, having worked with two account executives who are both CPAs, the people that they recruited to be customer-facing are truly top-tier. They are super attentive, good-humored, and communicate clearly. Special shout-out to John Heintz - what an amazing person to work with!
