I’ve said this from the very beginning, but the customer service at Coldture is absolutely first class. I love the fact that I was able to give Josh my cell phone and he called me up and followed up with me right away with text. He also quickly provided a solution for me, and even though I decided not to purchase the upgraded chiller, I am definitely going to invest in the all-weather pro series.
Excellent Customer Service
We bought a Coldture cold plunge system from Costco and loved it, but after a few months we had a couple of issues and some user related issues. I called customer service was connected with Cody and Josh, and they were fantastic. They were patient, friendly, and solved everything way faster than I expected. It feels rare to get service this good anymore. Huge thanks to both of them — we really appreciate it!
Chiller: great design, unreliable product, and extremely poor customer service
I wanted to like this product. The design is excellent and it runs quietly, which makes it very appealing on paper.
Unfortunately, the experience has been the opposite.
The chiller broke after just 6 months of use. When I contacted support, I ran into immediate friction. I didn’t keep the original box (there was no clear guidance to do so at the time), and I had to source packaging myself to return the unit, with only partial reimbursement. I’ve since noticed they updated their website to tell customers to keep the box, which says a lot.
From there, communication broke down completely:
No confirmation when they received the unit
No explanation of what failed
No updates on the repair
Multiple follow-ups required just to get a tracking number
I eventually received a replacement unit, but with zero insight into what went wrong with the first one.
Now, the replacement is not even usable because a small hose connector is missing. It appears to have been left on the original unit I returned and was not sent back. The part is not standard and difficult to source.
I’ve emailed again and, once more, getting a response is extremely difficult.
At this point:
The product has proven unreliable
Support lacks basic communication and follow-through
Resolution requires chasing them repeatedly
This could be a great product if the fundamentals were there, but the combination of reliability issues and poor customer service makes it hard to recommend.
NOT a Premium Product or Experience
I rarely leave reviews, but given the price point and my experience, I feel obligated to share this for other buyers.
I purchased this sauna in May 2025 and was quoted an approximate 6-week lead time. The unit was not delivered until nearly 4 MONTHS LATER.
When it finally arrived, it was MISSING a critical electrical component required for installation. As a result, my electrician was unable to complete the install, and I had to pay for a second service visit once the missing part was eventually provided. The solution from Coldture was to send a separate relay with additional instructions that were not included in the original build documentation.
For a product in the $10k–$15k range, this level of oversight was surprising.
Once installed, the overall build quality has been underwhelming:
• Noticeable gaps and misalignment in wood paneling
• Thin walls, hollow sounding, poor construction
• The ROOF SPLIT and has CRACKS in the wood in multiple locations within the first 3 months. I still have NO resolution or replacement 3-4 months later
• The thermometer/control unit began leaking adhesive GLUE onto us during sauna sessions due to the heat
The Tech has been unreliable:
• WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity have NEVER worked. Talked to three different people at the company about this, and still does not work to this day after having the unit now for seven months. So much for those JBL speakers they love to tout...
• The control system frequently freezes and requires resetting power at the breaker
The most frustrating part has been the support experience. Communication is inconsistent, and most issues require repeated follow-up. Promises to resolve problems are often delayed or not completed in a reasonable timeframe. As of now, several issues remain unresolved months after initial reporting.
There is a compelling concept behind the product, and the marketing sets high expectations. However, the actual ownership experience has not matched the price point or positioning as a premium product. Coldture consistently drops the ball, ignores messages, allows MONTHS to go on before resolution and have never offered replacement, rebate etc. Usually requests are simply ignored.
I would strongly encourage prospective buyers to consider other brands. Not only has this product been lackluster and disappointing, the Company itself has been the worst experience I've had in the health category.

We had a fantastic experience working with Josh on our sauna purchase. From start to finish, he was knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely focused on making sure we got the right setup for our needs. He took the time to walk us through the options, answered all of our questions, and made the entire process seamless.
The quality of the sauna exceeded our expectations, and Josh’s attention to detail and customer service really stood out. It’s clear he takes pride in what he does and stands behind his product.
Would highly recommend Josh to anyone considering a sauna—great product and even better service.

I have the Classic / Chiller Pro Bundle and The Pod infrared sauna.
I have the best setup in my house.
The chiller works great, can setup with my phone and schedule a time to start it so when I go in there it is the temp I want. After 2 months using it every day, no issue and love it. I’m 5.7 190lbs and the classic tub is big, can be 2 small person in it.
The Pod, man, what a great infrared sauna, I tried a few and this one is awesome. People saying infrared sauna don’t get hot, I’m telling you this one it does. I’m running it about 15-20min before to go in and when in 10min start sweating and 20-30 dripping like any sauna. Red light therapy is a great add. Speaker works well. The look of the outside is sick when the brand name that light up on the outside looks cool.
If you have money, you definitely should buy what they have to offer. Worth every penny.
They are easy to reach and will help you quickly.
Treat yourself, you deserve it.

Coldture Xtreme Outdoor Plunge Nightmare- Worst Customer Service Ever
Since delivery of my Xtreme Outdoor Cold Plunge (June 2025), my experience has been defined by repeated defects, service failures, and unmet promises. The unit is now non‑functional, unable to hold water, and has been out of service for over two months. It is defective and unfit for its advertised purpose.
Below is a summary of key issues:
1. ColdCare+ non‑delivery and subscription failures
At purchase, I was promised the full ColdCare+ package. Upon delivery, no filters or chemicals were included. After multiple follow‑ups, I eventually received one filter and three chlorine pucks—weeks late and incomplete. The program is marketed as an automatic quarterly shipment “so you never have to think about re‑ordering,” yet I have had to repeatedly chase every order. This failure voids the main benefit of the subscription and affects the two‑year limited warranty tied to it.
2. Defective panel and lack of proper support
Shortly after delivery, a panel cracked. Representative Leron Capland acknowledged the defect (July 7, 2025) and promised a replacement. A panel was sent, but I was told to install it myself and left without guidance despite repeated messages. This constitutes recognition of a defect and failure to provide an appropriate remedy. Customers should not be expected to repair new, premium‑priced equipment themselves.
3. Winter failure, repeated errors, and no local service
The plunge was marketed as outdoor, all‑season, and winter‑ready. Yet during winter, it produced continual error codes and became inoperable for months. Despite extensive troubleshooting with Cody Dacquay, the tub remains unusable. I was told there are no technicians in my area, making your “premium support” and warranty practically meaningless.
4. Damage following Coldture’s instructions
When the pump failed and I feared freezing, I followed Cody’s explicit advice to drain the unit. After doing so, an internal line cracked, leaving the tub unable to hold water. This failure occurred as a direct result of manufacturer guidance, in the absence of service support. It is unreasonable to suggest I should now bear those costs.
5. Unreasonable shipping demand
I have now been told to pay shipping to return the defective tub for assessment—and possibly the cost of repair and return—because you lack a local technician. Given the history of manufacturing defects, failed remedies, and reliance on your own instructions, this is an unfair and inconsistent application of your warranty obligations.
The unit’s prolonged downtime has also caused financial and reputational damage to my Airbnb business, where the cold plunge is a core attraction. I’ve incurred cancellations, refund requests, and poor reviews, with ongoing loss of income.
Requested Resolution:
1. A full replacement Xtreme Outdoor Cold Plunge shipped at Coldture’s expense, with no requirement to prepay return shipping.
2.Written confirmation of my ColdCare+ subscription status, including assurance that all components (filters, chlorine, oxidizer, alkalinity, test strips, etc.) will be shipped automatically on schedule.
3.Clarification of warranty coverage on the replacement unit for the remainder of my original two‑year limited warranty under ColdCare+.
This request is fair given:
Documented non‑delivery of promised ColdCare+ benefits.
Acknowledged manufacturing defect and inadequate remedy.
Prolonged non‑functionality during winter, contrary to advertised claims.
Further failure caused by following Coldture’s own instructions.

I had never tried cold plunging until I setup my barrel.
It’s been 2-3 weeks now. I’m not one to write reviews. But I have two positive things to say. 1) cold immersion has changed my life. 2) the barrel is awesome. Tougher and sturdy enough to support my body weight as I step in and out of it without any issues. Nice size , the delivery guy wasn’t sure as I am 6’1”, 230 lbs . But it’s fine . Ended up adding the mat as I’d splash once in a while.
Also, I wouldn’t have followed through with the purchase unless Josh hadn’t checked in with me to see if I had any questions. Super grateful for everything.
0 Customer Service... Run from this Company
Absolutely terrible company to deal with. Ordered a cold plunge lite and couldnt get any communication from anyone for almost 4 weeks to then find out they take 6-8 weeks to ship. Why couldnt they just email me that info? Trying to cancel the order after realizing their customer service was horrible was a nightmare. Its been 2 months and I still dont have a full refund. I have called 8 times emailed over 20 times to 5 different individuals and sent messages to the website. It was impossible to get a refund for an item that never shipped.
I couldnt imagine needing any warranty work.
Now they want to not pay almost 200$ back on my refund because I need to pay their shopify fees. NO product was ever shipped to me.
Im not kidding when I say its impossible to get ahold of the right person I had to go through 4 different levels of employees to get a refund and it took over 30 days to get "most" of my refund back on something that never even shipped.
I would highly advise using a different company to order your cold plunge.
The amount of follow up I had to do and calls and emails was absurd. I would still be out over 8K if I wasnt following up and demanding answers.

I can’t say enough about how incredible Coldture is. Cold plunging has changed my life and buying my chiller from Coldture was a great decision.
Their customer service department is incredible, and I have to say thank you to the team at Coldture — especially Cody — for the way they handled my chiller situation.
Cody was incredibly patient and genuinely committed to making sure everything was 100% right. At one point I was honestly ready to just settle because it was “working okay,” but he could tell I wasn’t fully satisfied and would not give up until everything perfect.
Throughout the whole process, he stayed professional and focused on making things right. There were moments when I didn’t hear back immediately and I assumed the worst — but looking back through our conversation, he was clearly working behind the scenes to follow through on his promises and go above and beyond what I expected.
In the end, everything is running perfectly, and that’s because Cody and Coldture didn’t quit until I was completely satisfied. That level of customer service is rare these days, and I really appreciate it.

terrible company to work with, first i had bad delays on the initial chiller shipping to my house just a few provinces over, then it shortly stopped working, they then sent me a new chiller which they tested and confirmed worked but it did not, after months (and now a year) of back and forth emails and text and video calls they sent me back and forth from person to person, eventually we determined hard water is the issue (chiller stops working 3-7 days after use due to flow rate issues) and leron assured me i’d be send a water filter for my hose, a new chiller, and everything would be sorted out for me as they valued the customer more then money, i have not been able to get ahold of leron since this, they now send me from person to person AGAIN, so i had enough, said i wanted a refund, but guess what?? i can’t because it’s out of the “refund period” even though i didn’t get a working chiller
