They Sized My Payment
I have made a $15 CAD payment to a vendor using their Coingate gateway. They decided to just freeze my crypto after they received it and forced me to fill out a refund form with a KYC, which only accepts passports as IDs
They keep refusing to give my money back, even to the original address, because of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), and Sanctions Regulations.

SCAM
This company employs only AI agents. Support messages are not being answered. They require a ton of documents for verification, and when all the documents are submitted, they don't verify them. My company has not been able to pass verification for a month, although we have already provided them with almost a DNA test.

I had a very positive experience with…
I had a very positive experience with CoinGate, especially thanks to their customer support representative Jurgita.
My case involved a refund, and everything related to the refund process was handled clearly, professionally, and without unnecessary delays. Jurgita was polite, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. Communication was transparent, and I always understood what was happening and what to expect next.
The refund itself was completed successfully, and from a payment and refund perspective, everything worked exactly as it should. For this part of the service, I have no complaints at all — it was excellent.
Overall, CoinGate’s support in handling financial and payment-related issues left a very good impression. Special thanks to Jurgita for her professionalism and calm, customer-oriented approach.
I appreciate the help and would confidently use CoinGate again for payment processing.

Received the giveaway prize
I had won the giveaway of Bitcoin Maximalist Board game, the game got promptly shipped and delivered from Latvia within 2 weeks.
Coingate team had followed up with me to update on the status of the shipment every week.
I had purchased a few giftcards in the past, one of them being a custom $80 VISA global giftcard in the past 6 month, it worked with no issues.
I can happily recommend coingate for giftcards purchases.

Scam – Paid in Full but No Gift Card
I tried to buy a gift card on CoinGate and paid the full amount using cryptocurrency. After completing the payment, they did not deliver the gift card. Instead, they claimed the amount was insufficient and asked me to pay more, even though I had already paid everything required. This is unacceptable and feels like a scam. Be careful – do not give them your money.

They are scammers
hello
They are not responsive at all
I have been asking for a refund for a long time. They don't even correct my answer and try not to refund the money. While there are all the evidences showing the payment and transaction.
They said the source of currency must be known! It's funny because for over a year, I have paid many times on the same website through the same wallet, but never once did such a problem occur.
I am making a formal complaint through a lawyer.

I ordered a visa gift card for 33.70 but…
I ordered a visa gift card for 33.70 but I have never received anything but ads from them. I tried to contact customer support to no available.
Now you're saying it is my fault since I never got anything resembling an order number in my email, first thing I got is ads from you. The chatbot AI is a joke.
Update. Finally got my card after some hassle, it says invalid card but now I have to deal with Rewarble.

Good n bad both
I am in a bind if i like these guys or hate them. Like when they have a gift card available on them they are like one of best gift card providers 10/10. But if there is some error like card not available or some scenario they take ages to transfer your money back and support staff is like they don't even care about anything no response or whatever
