Very Poor Experience and Machine Quality
From a tenant convenience and availability viewpoint, Coinamatic is a collosal failure of a company. Coinamatic has created a poor smart phone app and laundry card experience, doesn't maintain a high level of machine quality, takes long to service machines in need of repair, and provides an overall substandard level of customer service. The payment kiosk in our laundry room that is used to load laundry cards is often offline and the application on my smart phone periodically glitches due to technical issues on the company's end, meaning you just never know when you cannot load additional funds which is very inconvenient. In addition, machines often sit for weeks waiting to be serviced, and not all machines are able to be access by both cards and the app. If Coinamatic was a laundromat, they would have gone out of business year ago! And, if I could give this company zero stars, I most certainly would! As well, this company is too cowardly to be available on Google reviews as they know that negative customer reviews would follow them there and be more visibile for the whole world to see as a result. Trustpilot is visible enough but only so visible. Coinamatic: get your act together!
Very loud, maybe two machines running
Very loud, broken machines, recharge a card machine doesn’t work had to go to another building to do my laundry suck automatic

How can I leave no stars?
If I could rate this lower I would
If I could rate this lower I would. Put in a request for funds taken by the washers and going out of service as soon as money was withdrawn from my card . It has been over a month and a half since the request and still have not seen anything. Old washers and rusted out dryer is what we have to do laundry with. The keep raising the price but give nothing in return. Do not try to call customer service because they give the same answer I do not know

Capitalism over customer service
They keep increasing the prices then they complain when machines are overloaded. When you charge $5.75 for wash and dry, there will be even more laundry in each load.

I live in a rent gear to income building
There are four washers upstairs and four dryers constantly breaking down I just had my chance to see what happens.
I loaded some towels into the washer everything was fine then the machine starts making a banging noise.
When the machine stopped the washing machine my clothes my towels and everything were soaking wet like just wet.
I tried to bring some as much as I can I put them in the dryer and hopefully they'll at least partially dry.
These machines break down on a regular basis I can't speak for other people because we're not allowed to.
It's very annoying and frustrating when your clothes come out soaking wet after the load is finished.
The property management company really doesn't have anything to do with it they just allow you to come into the building install machines and that's it and then they say thank you any complaints of any kind have to go to kinematic not to the property manager company.
I asked one of your technicians a couple weeks ago with the possible to get new machines.
His reply was it's up to the property manager and I said that's just great.
Off the record he let me know that there's problems like this at almost every building and chronomatic and not put in your washers and dryers without their permission.
I understand that's the agreement that you have with them but it's not fair to the tenants whatsoever to have to go through this.
Like I said this is coming from me I will spend an extra $10 every two weeks to go wash and another laundromat so that my clothes or towels don't come out soaking wet after wash.
I'm sorry to take this out on you but there's no one else to.
Also one of your machines that's upstairs runs about 10 minutes slower than the other three beside it and that's been going on for a long time.
Apo doesnt work
Apo doesnt work. Cant add money without a code, never sends code. Why do I need a mobile number to wash my clothes?
Machines Broken All the Time
Machines Broken All the Time
No matter how many service requests you put in with these people they never actually come out and fix the machines. At this point over half the machines in my building have some kind of issue that isn't getting fixed. It doesn't matter how many times they tell you they are going to fix it, they never actually do.
Horrible machines and service. The machine in my building floods with…
The machine in my building floods with water and leaves your clothes soaking in filthy disgusting water that stains them and leaves them smelling horrible. Coinamatic won’t reimburse you for the wasted wash plus multiple dry cycles you have to pay for in order to bring them back into your apartment while you wait for a repair person to “fix” the machine and try washing them again. They just want your money and they don’t care at all that they are supplying absolute garbage products and service.
I'm am furious with this company and…
I'm am furious with this company and what they did to me! I live in apt building and have a laundry card to use facilities. When I went to use machines, my card would not work. It kept giving me error code. I called coinomatic explaining what happened. They told me to mail my laundry card back to them in order to get my money back. I mailed my card back well over a month ago. I still haven't heard anything back about it. I called last week to find out what was going on. The man said he would email " the higher ups to escalate my situation and they would contact me." I still didn't hear from them so I phoned back today to ask what was the delay. I was put on hold numerous times and the phone call lasted over an hour. When the woman came back to me she said they couldn't give me my money back bc the card was unable to read so they didn't know how much the balance on the card was! After I wasted my time and money mailing the card back and waited over a month for my refund, this was the end result? Why bother asking me to send the defective card back in the first place? This was no fault of my own and they think it's ok to literally steal people's money? This is outrageous. I put $30 on card at a time and now I burn for my money? I will not ever use the facilities in my building ever again and I will make sure everyone in this building and on fb knows about this!!! How can you call yourself a business? Based on the reviews this is a common occurance. Shame on you for ripping people off. Disgusting!!!
Coinmatic Laundry Is a Complete Scam — Machine Errors, Forced Extra Fees, and Zero Customer Support
I’ve never dealt with a company as unprofessional and predatory as Coinmatic. Their machines and support process feel intentionally designed to take money from customers while avoiding any responsibility.
Recently, I attempted to recharge my existing laundry card with $10. Instead of adding funds, the machine dispensed a brand-new card, charged me $10 for it, and left me with a completely empty card balance. I now have two cards with $0, and Coinmatic treated this as if I “purchased” a new card on purpose.
I opened two support tickets explaining the situation, and both were closed without a conversation, investigation, or resolution. They simply responded saying they “cannot refund” a card purchase — even though I never requested or selected a new card. This was a machine malfunction, not user error.
Beyond that, their laundry machines are unreliable and appear purposely set up to maximize charges:
• Washers frequently fail to clean clothes properly, forcing repeat cycles.
• Dryers run on very low heat, so clothes come out damp and require multiple paid cycles.
• The card system always leaves a few cents behind, ensuring customers must keep topping up.
It feels like a system designed to drain money slowly and quietly while minimizing accountability.
If Coinmatic wants to operate in residential buildings, they need to:
1. Fix their card dispensing and recharge system.
2. Stop closing legitimate support tickets without reading them.
3. Provide refunds when their machines malfunction.
4. Improve their washer/dryer performance so customers aren’t forced into multiple cycles.
Until then, this company is nothing but a frustrating, opaque, and borderline scammy service. I would strongly advise property managers to reconsider using Coinmatic, and I hope other residents share their experiences so this behavior doesn’t continue unnoticed.
This is the worst company I have ever…
This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with i leave in a apartment building of 240 tenants. The machine aren't fix properly the machine to fill our cards are alway broken and when you call them the customer service is horrible. I wish we can boycott this company for there lack of care .discussing company
Terrible Company
Machine prices raised to RIDICULOUS amounts (wash price is $3.25 for cold, and the dryer is $3.25 making the cheapest load $6.50 - warm wash? add .25. hot wash? add .50) The washing machines hold basically 1/2 a load at best and don't wash very well. The dryer was reduced by 10 min (60 min down to 50min) and the cost was raised from $3 to $3.25 - so you pay MORE for 10 min LESS drying time. To make this even more unfortunate, the dryer RUINS clothes. Either melts them into a ball or leaves grease stains on them from the back of the dryer. I have raised tickets with company, they close tickets, and machines are STILL GARBAGE!! Where are our protections as consumers????
Can't give a ZERO
Can't give a ZERO, I had to give 1
TERRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL service. washer door locked with clothes inside. Called MANY times with promises to get it fixed within 24 hours, which never happened. After a week, I called and was told problem solved, found out that was not the case.
This company is disgusting.
This company is terrible! I’ve lived in my building for 3 years and I don’t think the machine has ever been cleaned 🤮 I run my laundry with double cleaning vinegar - the dryer lint catcher is off so who knows how many socks have fallen victim (also fire hazard) and they got off by raising the prices every year 😭 - all i can say is do better.
I want my $4 back
I want my $4 back. What kind of a scam is this shit! It may only be $4 but it’s 3 flipping loads to me. Get you shit together Coinamatic!!!!
They prefer to not fix their machines so.you wont use them then they.make nothing I guess who runs this business dont know how to run one properly and they should be fired on the spot
I wouldn't be bothered with coinamatic. This company will charge you alot to use a coinamatic machine but they will not clean or fix anything. I live at the Hargate and have called 6 times to.have our washing machine fixed but they come leave us a stupid note about how much soap is not to be used and leave. Im an adult I know how much soap yo use and I have been going down at least once a mnth and cleaning out the washers before I run an affresh tablet through because they cant be bothered. Now we all.avoid that machine so.it doesn't hardly ever get used we all.use the one working machine or go.to another floor so its a waste but they wont spend the $50 to fix it i guess they prefer to lose the $300-400 they have been losing every month for almost a year seems like a no.braimer to me but they are obviously not that smart and would rather lose money then spent a little to fix something. Very bad service i wouldn't recommend this company.
I moved out of a building and they…
I moved out of a building and they refuse to refund me the money in the account. I can't even transfer it. its ridiculous.
