Rancilio Silvia

I bought a Rancilio Silvia, the On/Off Led was broken, it took them long to send me an exchange LED, the one they send to me was too short, i did not even get a proper briefing, I would not order from them ever again, always buy from a dealer near you, you need a proper warranty and place to go to!

What more can i expect

The order process was easy and quick. The delivery just as good.
Also had a prompt and friendly reactions for my questions from Giulia and Thomas Dalton.
All in all a great experience. Will fully recommend the store.

Rancilio Silvia pro purchase

I’ve purchased Rancilio Silvia pro machine arrived all was fine. After couple of weeks I’ve noticed that the machine was making some noise while idling, after opening it up I’ve noticed that bronze pipe going from service boiler to steam wand was leaking under pressure. I’ve contacted the seller who ordered a replacement part and sent it to me. Replacing the pipe fixed the issue and I didn’t have to send machine back. Seller was helpful during the issue troubleshooting.

Excellent support for Gaggia Classic

I have made an excellent experience with Coffeeitalia's support service. To explain: I have a Gaggia Classic Evo where metal flakes were falling off from the boiler, which is a known issue with Gaggia Classic Evo models from 2023 (Gaggia at some point replaced their boilers with a new coating, which unfortunately flakes off after some time). Coffeitalia worked intensely with Gaggia and distributors / service centers in order to now replace it with the latest generation boiler. I'm very happy coffeeitalia solved this problem and I can enjoy perfect coffee again :-)

Gelato TALENT i-Green: The patented stirring arm is ingenious.

The patented stirring arm is ingenious.
With all other machines, the stirring only works at the beginning. As soon as the ice cream mass becomes a little firmer, it is no longer stirred, but the agitator turns the complete mass as one ice cream lump.

The two-armed agitator of the "Gelato TALENT i-Green" stirs until the end. Since the inner stirring arm rotates at a different speed than the outer one, no lumps can form.

The overhead agitator is also much more practical both when filling and when emptying and cleaning.

I am extremely satisfied with the product recommendation and after-sales support

I am extremely satisfied with the customer service experience with coffeeitalia. When I enquired on the right coffee machine for me, the advisor was honest and made the right recommendation for my needs. When the coffee machine came, the steam handle was in a different color/ make as per advertised. I wrote to the customer service team and sent them a picture of what was delivered to me. They were prompt and acknowledged that it was incorrect. Efforts were made to identify the issue and they are sending me the correct piece. I am impressed with the timeliness of response and service orientation which I don't get with many service providers.

I received my SILVIA E 3days after the…

I received my SILVIA E 3days after the order date! Althoug being sent from Milano , this is really short delivery time!
This is my second SILVIA after the first one
was in daily use for about 18 years without any problems .
As expected , excellent appearence, detailed operating-and service instructions .
My first espresso confirmed that this repeat purchase of a RANCILIO Silvia was a good decision .

Misleading website, poor customer service

I placed an order for Sage Dual Boiler on Friday. It was around noon (12.00) and the article was advertised as "in stock", so I expected a timely delivery (yes, namely I expected it will be dispatched the very same day). Friday, silence, Saturday, Monday, also no message, no status change on my account on the website. Monday evening, I wrote an email asking about the status of my order. Tuesday, I decided to call them and then I realised what I am dealing with. My phone calls were not answered. There is an answering machine asking you to choose the language. I tried English first: no answer and then a recorded message saying to leave your data and that they will call you back (the quality of the recording is poor). Tried in Dutch - the same system, the message asking you to record your details (in Dutch this time). After an hour or so, I got a phone call from UK. I tried to call back, but my network operator said that this number is not in use. One more hour later I got a call from UK again, which I managed to answer. It was from Coffeeitalia - English speaker with clear Italian accent. The person says that my order was most probably already shipped yesterday without even asking for the order number. I asked for tracking number and I got an answer that it will come in the email. A few hours later, I received the email stating (in German) that my order will be dispatched at the beginning of the next week.... At this moment I just imagined the amount of pain if my machine comes damaged or needs service later under warranty. No, I do not want to do any business with this company: I asked to cancel the order, and refund the money to my credit card account. I am so happy that I paid with a credit card - at least it is covered by the "Aflevergarantie". If you are in the Netherlands, I would really advise to pay 60-100 Euro more elsewhere for your machine and have some peace of mind. What I experience is definitely not what I would expect from a company that sells expensive coffee machines.

This answer just further confirms my points. Do you post an answer with completely untrue data to undermine the negative review, counting it will be left without further reaction? I see it has also been done with other (negative) reviewer below who presented quite similar experience. Aligning with the trust pilot recommendation I try to avoid including private information. I am also not acting maliciously to damage the reputation of Coffee Italy: I would leave nothing more than a positive review if my experience was different. A negative feedback leaves space for improvement. So let me just reassure you: yes, I am using the official contact channels as reported on your website. Both email and phone number. This can be verified and I am happy to provide relevant evidence. For the reader, before spending 1000 Euro, please make a call to +31(0)202251961 (the official customer service number) and try to reach the Dutch (or any other) support operator. Then judge your experience yourself and decide if you want to take that risk. As for my case: you can easily track my order number (NL100012937) and do the right thing (I already requested the order to be cancelled via the email you used to communicate with me). At this point I have lost trust in your business, but I will update my review if the refund goes promptly and transparently. And I do hope you will improve the overall experience as there is a lot to improve.

Best place to get espresso machines and accessories

Having struggled to find a good vendor in Germany for many months, an Italian friend told me about Coffee Italia and the fact that they have shops for many countries. I just got a VBM + grinder package, and am very happy with the service. An amazingly wide selection, very fair prices, and swift processing of orders. I'm definitely coming back to the store in the future!
