the course as a whole is great and gave me a good first insight to coding. i really enjoyed the setup, but i was never sent the certificate that you are meant to get at the end, so for future references i have no proof that i actually completed the course.

It was a good introduction as a complete novice.
My reason for knocking off one star is that there could have been more teaching - there was a lot of copy/paste/being spoon fed the answers however maybe that's me being too ambitious.
I do feel like I learned some basics - enough to make me want to learn more

That was the good and useful course but short

Very easy to understand, step by step instructions, with a good amount of challenge that kept it very interesting!
Would be keen to see more 5 day challenges in the future for other kinds of programming!

Brilliant insight to web development

This was a great introduction to coding. Everything was well organized and very clear.

It was a fantastic challenging experience through every line of code I learned something new in the process. I was humbled at times and at other times I was excited after passing the challenge in one take. It was an amazing five day challenge well worth it, well deserved and I see my future bright with making an impact in the ever growing world of tech.Thank you Code Institute.

I recently completed the 5 Day Coding Challenge with Code Institute, and it was a fantastic experience. The content was engaging and easy to follow, even for a complete beginner. I learned the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in just a few days, which has boosted my confidence in coding. The support from the team was great, and the daily challenges were well-paced. Highly recommended for anyone looking to dip their toes into the world of coding!

My experience with Code Institute was positive overall. The course content was well-structured, and the mentor support was really helpful when I needed it. I feel more confident in my coding skills now. One suggestion for improvement would be to cover some advanced topics in more depth. Overall, I’d recommend it for anyone looking to start coding.

Very clear explanations, but they don’t coddle you either making it a worthwhile experience.

I really enjoyed the coding challenge. The format of the course was brilliant, with videos followed by bitesized challenges. It has definitely sparked an interest in coding for me!

things were explained well but sometimes the instructions wouldn't be too clear. it would fail me if I write the class identifier in the element before I made the class itself.

AMAZING, great for practical learners, I myself require interactive, practical learning due to Dyslexia and I found this 5 Day Coding Challenge really allowed me to practice what I learned each day.

I recommend to anyone who would like to dip there toe in and get an idea of some areas of Software Development.

By completing/passing the Coding Challenge I've now got an offer to begin my career change into a Full Stack Software Developer.

My experience coding HTML and CSS was both challenging and rewarding. Learning the foundational concepts like structure, semantics, and styling gave me a strong understanding of how web pages come to life. Seeing changes instantly in the browser as I adjusted code made the process engaging and satisfying. Debugging CSS issues, especially with layout and positioning, could be frustrating at times, but those moments were invaluable for building problem-solving skills. Overall, it was a great way to understand the building blocks of web development, and it opened the door to more complex coding endeavors.

Good fun and gave a good grounding in the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and Javascript.

It was one of the most challenging, useful and unique experiences on my life and I recommend it to those who want to change career or even as a habit as it is on my opinion extremely interesting.
