Codédex is an absolute gem for anyone learning to code, especially beginners. The community is incredibly supportive and engaging, with hackathons and monthly challenges that are not only fun but also a great way to build skills across all levels. The gamified learning approach keeps things exciting, and the feedback from both peers and mentors makes the experience even more rewarding—highly recommend it!

Codédex is amazing overall. The courses are very beginner friendly and they have more advanced courses and projects to help reinforce the new knowledge. The community is extremely supportive and friendly. I genuinely cannot stop talking about it and trying to get my friends to try it. There are also monthly challenges and hackathons you can participate in which have been fun as well. Can’t get enough.

I've completed 5 courses(Python, Intermediate Python, HTML Command Line, and Git/Github.)I am almost finished with CSS. I've tried many different apps and sites to learn to code, which has been above the rest by far. It's the chef's kiss. If you want to get into coding or dip your toes, check it out! The courses are comprehensive, have clear explanations, and are not overwhelming like other programs.

Codédex has been an amazing platform for improving my coding skills and connecting with a supportive community. It's been a total game-changer for my coding skills. From basic to pro, they've got everything. I highly recommend the community and OPC for anyone looking to improve their coding.

I never wouldve indulged into coding if it were not for codedex, the way they teach in a fun way using examples and games is pretty cool and makes you interact more. I told my friends about it and because its like a game they actually took effort to check it out and loved it in the end

I’ve absolutely loved this website. It teaches you the basics of programming with a built-in code editor and then gets you to work on projects. There are many programming tracks, projects and exercises to choose from!

I am currently a high school student, enrolled in the Github Student Developer Pack. Scrolling through, I notice a website, Codédex. Looking through, it looks great. Every other place has this sense of 'school', as if all they do is teach. Codédex isn't just that. Sure, their course content is some of the best I've seen, with a very you-paced mentality. There is no pressure to continue. Sure, there are things like 30-nites-of-code, but it's entirely up to you what you wish to do. There are so many courses, the 6-months free through Github really doesn't seem that much all of a sudden. The gamified nature of Codédex allows for a more enjoyable experience, it lacks that sense of school - Codédex stands out. Through them, I have learned a myriad of skills (Python, numpy, the CLI, Github, etc) and even participated in a competition, something I didn't think I'd do for a while (and I won a prize!) - now to address the title, "Skipped a year". As I am currently adventuring through high school, I am taking any computer class I can. But they are so slow! What took us roughly a year to cover, I did in a month.

Codédex isn't just a rebranded online school, with little, unenthusiastic staff. Codédex is a place where you can learn and talk, get advice, learn the latest in news, learn hands-on skills, take on projects, meet likeminded people, and connect with a community. I have seen no place like them.

I have purchased a lot of different courses and have been in a lot of different developer advocate communities. Codedex is handsdown the best community for people learning how to code. If you need help with something, someone will help you out. They have regularly scheduled events. The owner is very involved and active in the community. They give you a lot of opportunity to help in a professional environment so if you are looking to be an active member of a great community I would 100% recommend Codedex.

Well, I don't know where to begin. I've learned so much in these past 3 months than what've learned in college. The gamified learning experience made it so much easier and fun for me to actually get up and learn how to code. The mentors, and community members are very engaging, fun and wholesome. I have nothing but good to say about Codédex, If you're considering to learn how to code just register for the club membership you won't regret it.

I've been using Codedex for a few days now and this has been a delightful way to learn Python. The game-ified way of learning like Duolingo is a recipe for success in my book. Couldn't recommend it more

A recruiter I follow on there shared the Codedex summer hackathon, and given it was for complete beginners, I signed up for it. Probably top 5 decisions I have made in my life.
The community is amazing, and what is offered even for free is of the greatest quality. Resources are available, and also adds the human flair to what you would expect out of tech.

I love the approach, gamified and quite involved as well. Projects are actually cool and useful even just for individuals and will look great on any resume.

CodeDex is a super great community to learn new programming languages, start on coding projects, and in general just be encouraged to step outside your comfort zone! They've hosted lots of beginner-friendly community events that have helped me grow a lot as a coder. I highly recommend it!

The program tailored to Codedex is fascinating and easy to follow for any level of coder. They also build a community with monthly challenges and event that keep members engaged and win prizes out of it. The staffs respond early and responsibly, always friendly and helpful to the members.

With zero coding experience, I was looking for a platform that primarily offered 2 things:

1.) A fun intuitive way to learn how to code.

2.) A welcoming community with like-minded individuals.

Codedex captured the very essence of what I was looking for. The Codedex crew is a delight to engage with. Especially the "office hours" they offer, which help users with projects related to coursework or personal. Even opportunities such as mock interviews, LinkedIn reviews, and portfolio help.

I highly recommend them. As someone with no coding experience, they built a special community that left a huge impact on my life.

Codédex is an absolutely amazing community. I first heard about them through their summer hackathon that they were holding, and participating in the hackathon itself was a surreal experience. Their entire interface is designed to help new programmers like me, and the owners are all very nice people. Whether you’re a new or advanced programmer, definitely check out Codédex!

Codédex is such a heartwarming and welcoming community for learners of all levels. It stands out because of its supportive, encouraging, and fun environment. Their beginner-friendly courses are easy to follow and their interactive theme makes coding feel like a game. I recently participated in their Summer Hackathon, my first hackathon, and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had so far. The event was well-organized with thoughtful details like workshop sessions, Uber Eats swag raffles— all in under 24hrs and virtual!! They even reviewed every project. The team is superrr responsive and I mean it when I say it, I was stunned by their constant updates. In everything they do, you can feel that they’ve put their 100% in it

Codedex is a wonderful community of people learning to code and giving excellent advice. Their discord server is inviting and friendly regardless of your level of experience and the people are willing to help with any challenges that you face. Their events are fun and organized and I had a blast participating in their Summer Hackathon. The staff are responsive and active, giving a great feeling of belonging and care within their community.

I love everything about this community. When I started it was mostly about the game look while I was learning, but then I started other courses and all the other things you can find in Codédex. Also, the whole community is amazing, I never felt so welcomed in a tech community as I was in Codédex.

So If you're looking for a beginner-friendly (it's actually for all levels) Codédex should be your one and only.
