Elizabeth Cuevas was great! Patient and kind, helped my student.
Our son is in his final year of high school, and has a learning disability related to the speed of processing information, anxiety, and ADD. Coachbit has helped him build habits that have helped him see assignments through to completion and just function better at school and home, with higher self esteem. Thanks to coach Sinovuyo for recognising our son's strengths, being so encouraging, and for communicating with us throughout.
Melissa has been an incredible coach for our daughter. From the first few weeks of coaching, we noticed a difference. She was more organized, more punctual, more on top of things -- but most of all, so much more confident in herself! We've seen her blossom as she's taken that newfound confidence and applied it to everything she's working on. Can't speak highly enough of Melissa and Coachbit.
Coachbit has been a godsend to our family, and Coach Robyn, in particular, is absolutely amazing. Our son started with Coachbit as an awkward eleventh grader with pretty significant executive functioning and ADHD issues. He was having a really hard time managing the various responsibilities in his life, and his motivation and confidence were plummeting as a result. In his first semester with Coachbit, his grades improved from B's and C's to almost all A's! With Coach Robyn's help, over time he has grown in to a calm, fairly confident college student with a plan to tackle life’s daily challenges. We are so grateful -Thank you Coach Robyn!
Positive impact
From day one when I contacted your organization for support, there was a sense of urgency. The person who responded to my email could identify with my situation.
My son's coach (Rivoningo Lubisi) was persistent even in times when I was beginning to lose hope. His patience, and ability to counsel me let alone my son is paying off.
I see my son taking ownership of his coaching sessions, tidying his room, and studying without me reminding him.
The support I get from coach Rivo as an elder brother figure to my son is highly appreciated being a single parent and my son the only child.
Please keep shining and assisting us to make future leaders out of our children. With Coachbit I feel like indeed it takes a village to raise a child.
Kind regards
Coach Gaia was a great help. She is very attentive and adapts well to our son's needs and learning style. she checks in on progress and keeps everyone on track.
Coach Sinovuyo is very supportive, organized, respectful & caring. She communicates her warmth and caring from half a world away & that makes such a BIG difference in motivating students to make those changes that have a positive impact in their lives. She is a Blessing to my daughter. I am grateful to have her in our lives.
We got progress reports yesterday and for the first time (possibly ever) my son was caught up on nearly everything with all As and Bs - except for one.
He is usually many assignments behind and trying to dig himself out of a homework hole - but not this year and I am so grateful because he doesn't seem as stressed or frustrated.
His confidence and mood are better because he doesn't have those missing assignments constantly weighing him down. I think he finally gets to see what we've always told him - "if you just turn stuff in your grades will be great." Plus we aren't constantly having to beg him to finish his work and nag him - which is so not helpful but we didn't know what else to do.
The first 6 months of coaching there was a bit of change - and that was the time he and his Coach Jess, were building a foundation and habits. However, we've seen many positive changes and a lot of growth over the summer and now with school starting it's really becoming clear just how well the coaching is helping him figure out what works for him. He seems more self-assured and proud of his efforts which makes my heart happy.
Aside from school, he's better at keeping his room clean, doing his laundry, and helping whenever we ask. He has a great long-term memory but his short-term memory seems to be improving a lot as well.
I'm sure there are other things but that's all I can think of right now. It looks like the efforts of his wonderful coach, Jessica Jordan, and his efforts are really paying off. He doesn't like me to make a big deal about how proud I am of him - but I really really am.
Thank you!
My coach, Ayesha, was incredibly good with helping me figure things out that I was struggling with, and also just very good at listening and respecting my time. It was very helpful and taught me a lot of useful skills.
The first thing is the selection of coaches. Each one really does help and has lots of methods to help.
The second thing is they listen to the people using the app to make it more convenient and comfortable to use. I 100% recommend using the app if you are struggling with school
In the nick of time my son has started to take himself seriously, improved his personal hygiene, reduced the amount of time spent gaming, started approaching his lessons with intent to learn, taking notes etc, habitually attends BJJ classes and is kind to the puppy.
In one day he achieved 17 +ve behaviour points at school previously 1 would have been good.
If he continues on this trajectory, he can potentially maximise his life opportunities when exams arrive next summer.
Coachbit has been instrumental in helping my teen find ways to overcome his frustrations and insecurities that come with increasing academic loads. Over time with the guidance of coach Robyn, he’s turned around his whole attitude on school - nothing is late anymore, he’s following up with teachers and importantly, his grades are all up. The app based methodology with live human engagement is game changing - allowing him to fit it in daily with minimal interruption to his (or my) day.
Providing your coaching in "bite-size" sessions is a very effective way to engage busy, and often distracted teenage students. Coachbit really helped my granddaughter through a difficult Senior year in High School, allowing her to graduate and proceed to University with greater confidence in her abilities.
i loved this coaching, it really helped from time to time because my coach helped me to push forward and to help me with all of the organizing habits and timetables, my coach was also really kind. and its not intimidating its really fun i deffo recommend thanks coachbit!
I saw an improvement in my son's organization and time management. He seemed to get a lot out of the instruction.
I'm impressed with Coachbit's customer service. They reached out to me when I had an issue and genuinely wanted to resolve it. As far as the coaching, they promptly changed the coach when I requested. We had an amazing coach when we began. After she moved on to a different path, we had a so-so coach. As soon as I emailed Coachbit, we were able to change to another good coach. Sometimes though, the coach has connection issues. I think she's from a different country. However, she was always upbeat and motivational.
Fyi, please know the terms & conditions if you need to discontinue for whatever reason. Overall, I do recommend Coachbit if your child needs executive functioning boost.
Working with Tishan was a true gift. My son felt so comfortable with Tishan from the beginning of their time together. Tishan was a great and engaging coach and mentor. We are so grateful for our time with coachbit and Tishan. We hope to return back to this program in the near future.
Our coach, Micah, works hard to engage and build trust with my child which means a lot to me. Kids with ADD struggle sometimes with feelings of accomplishment and subjectifying things their brains make hard, so I think approaching everything as 'learning to...' rather than success/ failure is a strength of this approach. some of the 'success' techniques may not be very effective. e.g., when my kid sees a pop-up of an emoji dancing as their 'reward' they pretty much laugh, and I give them a treat they want instead as a 'reward' in part because i do understand the neuroscience of 'reward' in the brain. But I don't expect every parent to know that stuff! Coachbit should know! 12 year olds are smart, and not much gets by mine.
UPDATE: Coachbit was very attentive to my frustrations and their customer service was fantastic. I know this program has worked wonders for many children, just not for my daughter. Just make sure there is follow through and your child is truly progressing through the stages. This is a great program. Original Post: Although, Justine seemed very nice, there was absolutely no improvement with my daughter at all. She was not completing any assignments, and there was no follow through with Justine to see if she had done the assignments. She would continue to graduate into a new subject with your system, even though she had not completed the one before. Her grades did not improve, nor did the other items we talked about when I paid the money for this program. Very disappointed.

Her couch Sa-eedah is not only amazing and patient but also great with giving weekly feedback and come up with solutions to challenges, and also flexible when our schedules got too hectic. Thoroughly enjoying working with her.
