The tutoring itself is great, we really liked our son’s tutor - she was fun, engaging and firm which was a really good fit as he can be easily distracted. He did alternative weeks of maths and Englis... See more

Was sold face to face tutoring. Not face to face via the internet. Could not get an agent on phone or online hub chat to address or cancel the service. This provider is a scam.
Antonina is my child’s tutor and has been great at getting him to come out of his shell and participate.
I wouldnt recommend cluey. They promise the world and cant deliver. My daughter has had 6 sessions and 5 different tutors. One of my key criteria, was consistency of tutor to aid learning and they promised that would not be an issue. But they havent done that. And when i raise, they just say it is what it is.
Im sure the tutors are great but its not a consistent offering for you child.
We engaged Cluey for study assistance for our year 12 son. After experiencing very inconsistent quality coaching we decided to cancel - however they are making it impossible for us to cancel - we keep calling and sending letters and they just keep charging us. There is no option to cancel on their website and no way to remove our credit card details. We are going to escalate to the ACCC
We have a revolving door of tutors which creates a very poor experience. Some tutors accent is so strong my child has issues understanding them. There is no pairing of equivalent tutors when the usual one is not available and then they try to charge me for cancelling a session due to the fact I'm not wanting the tutor that is thrusted upon me.
Absolutely horrid customer service. After fighting weeks to get a good tutor (who is amazing) the rest has been rubbish. Tried to book our son with the same tutor, but got messed around that we finally went someplace else. There are other tutor services in New Zealand, rather go to them.
I signed my yr10 son up for help with his Maths. The sign up process is very easy and the Hub where you manage the lessons, view the lesson reports, manage your profile and anything else you may need is all there and easy to navigate. Our tutor is wonderful and has a great relationship with our son who is now starting to enjoy maths again and apply it to his in school maths classes.
Since starting with cluey my son has made great progress in his maths and his confidence has grown. His tutor has been great at explaining things and has helped him to break things down into manageable steps. Would deffently recommend cluey learning.
If you like customer service do not sign up with Cluey. The maths tutor we have for our daughter is great and she has really helped fill gaps and she now loves Maths. BUT if you have an issue of any kind there is no one to speak to, if you call their 0800 number you will be directed to their chatbot no matter what option you choose, when you get there you get agents who have no idea what they are doing. This has been the most frustrating experience and if the tutor wasn't so good I would have left a long time ago. Considering the price you would expect decent service.
My 14 year old step son requested tutoring for maths and he's very happy with the one on one attention he receives. We're most happy with the fact that they will keep explaining in different ways until they understand which has really helped his confidence with the subject.
Great experience for my son. He is learning a lot.
DISGUSTING TERRIBLE TUTORING!!!
Called me over 10x from different mobile numbers, totally unprofessional after I told them THREE TIMES I wanted to be taken off the list after realising they charge $100 an hour for online?! Ridiculous prices and terrible service all they want is money and don’t care about what they have to do to get it
Horrible
Total scam. Tutors don’t listen to what you actually want and if you schedule for a Sunday they will cancel with no notice. When they say you can call or go online to the Hub, there is only an automated services that tells you no one available. Unlike most others, I was able to cancel the automatic direct debits. The whole trial setup is a scam. Let’s see if they give me a refund for the cancelled session. My money says they won’t which will prove my review.
This is the worst experience I have ever had with a service provider. They took my money and provided no lessons. First lesson my son was having trouble logging in but was only a few minutes late. Tutor didn’t let him into the session and he waited for an hour like this. I tried multiple avenues to get hold of Cluey and no response. Second session was re-scheduled twice and then cancelled by Cluey 30 minutes before start. Massive waste of money and time. Disgusting service.
Friendly staffs and very accommodating. Offers more convenient and flexible time. Easy access in learning hub. My son said he is enjoying the process and he is learning a lot every session. Thank you so much.
I was sceptical at 1st, didn't think online tutoring was the best for my daughter but trying to find someone local with availability was proving to be hard. So we just have it a go and it has been the best decision we made. My daughter absolutely loves her lessons each week, she will excel with school very soon.
I have been unable to get into the Learning Hub and I cannot reach anyone on phone for assistance, it just goes to an automated message that directs to the Learning Hub for assistance. Bit hard when I can't get into it, and the email queries are not responsive.
They did manage to charge my account pretty quickly though!
Cluey Learning are extremely organised- Provide tailored tutoring for my daughter in English advanced and Extension. She is very happy.
Not recommenced. We started a 4 week trial session, it turned out as automatic billing, I had to manually cancel it. The log on to the session never went well, it does NOT support tablets, mobile or browsers other than Chrome.
