Was really excited to try this but my order despite saying it was shipped has still not arrived nearly a month later. Emailed customer service 4 times and still awaiting a reply.
My experience was pretty much the same as others writing here & elsewhere to complain. The order was placed at the end of February, was to be sent to my son (a big tempeh fan) but was initially delayed due to stock shortage. A few weeks later (after not receiving it and chasing it up) I was told by 'Harry' that my order was among a number that had mistakenly been marked 'fulfilled' when they had not been, and that sadly, stock was again exhausted and would take a little while to recover. I was promised delivery on the 13th March. That did not happen. More chasing up on my part, and they sent out the order again -- and it was delivered to a wrong address or otherwise lost. They then said they'd re-send another and my son would receive it on 19th. Again (unbelievably) it did not happen -- according to Harry, the DPD van carrying my order had been involved in a fatal accident.
Finally, on the FOURTH attempt it did arrive on the 27th of March --a full month and some 35 email exchanges in total later. Unfortunately, by the time it did arrive, my son and his wife were going away and all the tempeh had to be frozen. No idea how good it will taste when defrosted (or even how good it would have been if eaten as intended).
I also want to mention that the email responses seemed to be at least partly AI-generated -- I'm not sure that 'Harry' really exists! No offer of compensation for all the time & trouble it took to get the order, nor for the fact that it arrived so late that it had to be frozen on arrival!
A very expensive mistake!
Ordered first lot and order delayed which was no problem due to their appearance on dragons den…just ordered some more..again a delay..then order cancelled with no reason…can’t get a response from email or “instant” messenger so far been waiting 3 days for a response to why?…so much for instant messenger…not happy
Ordered on 27/02/2026. Notified by email on 05/03/26 that my product would be delayed. Replied that unless they could guarantee that it would arrive by 13/03/26, I would need to cancel as I would be away.
They replied that, if I lived at a mainland address, it would "definitely" be with me by 13th. I do & it wasn't.
Why do businesses who appear on Dragons Den fail to prepare for the inevitable huge uplift in sales?
And having failed to prepare, why can't they be realistic with what they promise?
Given my order includes fresh product, it was critical that it arrived by the promised date. I've emailed to request a refund. I'll revisit this review depending on whether I get it without a fight.
Wanted to support a small business....but not by paying for something I won't be able to use because they couldn't even deliver by the promised delayed date
I was excited to purchase products from this company, after seeing them on the TV show, Dragon's Den, but how very disappointed I was with the tempeh! The 'southern fried' poultry inspired flavour was lacking any taste additions in my opinion and was as bland as could be. It was just bitter and unpleasant. which I found totally unpalatable, despite trying to add different herbs and spices to make a meal. I also thought the texture was very strange, .Unfortunately, although totally understanding the health benefits and sustainability of these products, and I wish these young men all the success they deserve, i could not recommend this product to others. On the up side, the radish /turmeric kimchi is delicious, and i would buy this again and again, and try others in that range
A month ago, I ordered the entire package.
I'm always eager to assist new businesses and attempt new things.
Regretfully, this journey wasn't the happiest.
When the products arrived, two of them were opened and nearly all of the juice spilled out.
I had to consume it all in a few days because, once opened, they last for a month. I was unable to tell when they opened.
I sent the photos and responded to them right away to explain the situation.
After responding to my email, which took a long time, they offered to send the items again.
Since the company was just starting out, I told them it wasn't essential, because I didn't want them to spend extra.
I sent them an email requesting them not to send the items, but they have never responded.
They are not on top of things and don't give much thought about responding.
The fact that the item that spilled was the best-tasting of all of them is especially upsetting.
I should have accepted the offer.
Anyhow, I will not buy from them again.
