Wow, seems to be an outstanding trustworthy page if it causes half the internet to break down. It's especially great if you need certain pages for work but they are not reachable because Cloudflare has a major breakdown.
Constant outages, no support, and completely unreliable
I honestly don’t understand how a company this big can provide such an unstable service. Half of Cloudflare’s functionality seems to go down randomly without warning, and when it does, there is absolutely no way to reach real support or get unblocked. You’re just stuck waiting and hoping things come back online.
The communication is terrible, the status pages rarely reflect the real issues, and the customer is left in the dark. When Cloudflare stops working, it takes entire services with it — and there’s nothing you can do. For something that markets itself as “reliable infrastructure,” it feels the exact opposite.
At this point, it’s incredibly frustrating. If your business depends on uptime, be very careful. The lack of transparency, lack of support channels, and repeated downtime make Cloudflare feel like a completely unreliable partner.

This year my webite experience MULTIPLE downtimes for more house because CF. One experiencing right now.
Biggest issue is my dns are on CF and their login not working.

Blocked me from a website for no reason and to contact them I have to create an account. Annoying.
Very slow and unhelpful support - unresolved issue for months
I’ve been using Cloudflare for a long time, but this is the first time I’ve had such a disappointing support experience. I paid for a yearly Pro Plan in September (Invoice IN-47518833), but the plan was never activated correctly.
I opened a support case and provided all screenshots and the invoice. Instead of resolving the issue, the case was closed even though the problem was still there. I had to open a new case, and now it has been sitting “under engineering investigation” for weeks with no updates at all.
I’ve spent months trying to fix something that should take minutes.
The most frustrating part is that support claimed everything was fine, even when the issue is clearly on Cloudflare’s side.
If Cloudflare charges for a yearly plan, they should activate it - or process a refund when they fail to deliver. Still waiting for both.
Very disappointed with the speed, communication, and overall support quality.
Running in circles to register a domain name
I was trying to register a domain name. Because I found Cloudflare suggest on what I thought were reliable sites, I went all through the process, including leaving my credit card information, my address, and all that stuff, only to be told my information was incorrect. I checked with my bank, and my card is clean. After three efforts with the chatbox, the AI chat sent me to support, which had no webpage. I really do not like leaving my credit card information on a website that gives me no service.

I honestly don’t understand why this company has such bad reviews. I was genuinely surprised.
When you purchase a domain through Cloudflare, you get access to many features for free, which has been really helpful. Also, since the company doesn’t take any profit margin on domain sales, it’s an excellent choice if you plan to keep your domain long-term. (Of course, they don’t offer discounts either — naturally, since there’s no margin to begin with.)
