Great process from start to finish. This is our third or fourth (I lost count) project with them. Jeanne always has great ideas and sets a great plan in place. Brent did a fantastic install. Estimated to take 2-3 days and he completed it in 1 day. Highly recommend.

Alice was my consultant and she was absolutely fantastic! She was knowledgeable, responsive and had great ideas. I have recommended her and Closet Factory to several friends and will be using her again soon for our garage organization.

It took a month to get the closet installed. It's pricey! But they didn't install some shelves and I have to keep calling them to ask for a refund. The design consultant doesn't answer texts and when I called the mai office say I am calling the wrong person and it's the design consultant who needs to figure out. Bottom line customer service is terrible!

Our designer was Julia Keskin, from the Houston office. She was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Julia was extremely patient, listened to our ideas and needs, made suggestions, and kept us apprised of the status of our custom build throughout the process. When the incorrect wood was cut, she contacted us immediately and effectively rectified the situation to our satisfaction. The installer was excellent and finished the job in less time than originally anticipated. We are extremely pleased with our closet room, murphy bed, and the service that we received. We highly recommend Julia and will definitely use her should we have future closet needs. ~Eve Messina & Lorna Clark

I ordered a custom built Murphy Bed with a folding desk in it from their designer Catherine. They charged me $5527 for the bed and desk attachment and said I could pick out all the hardware later which was included in the price. I sent Catherine several images of a desk idea and she was supposed to create a design. I was then given a plain design and told to sign off on it so they could begin the order of the parts for the Bed. They delayed the install for 2 months and then said the bed was ready to install, though I had not seen a design and had repeatedly asked to see something. Catherine never returned any of my calls. They came to install and when they did it was the plain design with big silver handles (all the hardware in my home is black). No desk. I called several times asking for someone to come and add the desk and was told there was not enough staff to fix it, then I was told the wrong materials were used on the base and that a desk could not be attached. The main Los Angeles office kept saying I had to reach out to Catherine who would not return my calls. Then someone from accounting called and offered me $400 which I said was not enough because the wrong materials were used and $400 was not enough to go out and hire someone to recreate the wall of the bed and then also add a folding desk to it. I emailed back and called back several more times and they said that since I said the $400 was not enough that the issue was unresolvable and they send me no refund at all and would not come and install the product I originally ordered.

This company does not build or install a quality product! Their warranty does not last a week after it's installed.

We spent $8k in July of 2022 on new laundry room installation. Within the first week the product failed. A shelf in the cabinet expanded and split along a sealed seam. We were shocked when we told we had to measure for a replacement (and because they were busy), would have to do the install ourselves. (which violated their own written warranty)

We hired a contractor to help and were old the entire cabinet system has exposed edges and we should not be surprised when this happens again!

This product is one step above Ikea, but for a high-end price. We purchased a similar type closet solution 15 years ago from California Closet, and it still looks as good today as it did when it was installed.

We should never have gone with this product. We are working with Costco to get a solution. Thankfully Costco does stand behind their products and support their customers.

We had very poor experience with installation with this company, it’s been a complete and utter mess. The installation team did not complete the install in the allotted time and it was left to me to chase after follow-up installation and even providing a list of everything that was incomplete. Despite listing out all the incomplete install items multiple times to multiple people, the follow up installation folks showed up without the correct items to complete install. After 4 installation appointments over a 2 month period, our project is still incomplete. They installed two different colors of handles and did not install liner for the jewelry tray in the original install about 2 months ago. They have attempted to fix this with 4 follow up appointments since and have been unable to fix what should be a seemingly simple thing to fix. Every install appointment, they either show up with the wrong items or show up without a full list of things that need to be completed or show up with wrong instructions entirely. It’s been extremely frustrating to say the least.

My closet was completed and somehow the depth was not that was discussed with the original designer. Upon just one text Gary and his team completely demolished and re-installed the entire master closet without any excuses. The entire team starting with the owner, the office team and the installation team has been exceptional and very professional in handling the entire process. It is rear to see a contractor go above and beyond to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. Excellent work. Thanks to all at the Closet Factory.

I am generally very thoughtful about reviews. I know they can make or break service providers and I try to give as many chances as possible for the provider to correct a mistake and be reasonable (because things can and do happen). But, I feel compelled to warn everyone about this company. I have quite literally never had a worse customer service experience in my life. I have been waiting 8 months for a job to be completed. They no-show, repeatedly. They don't call back or outright lie. If you speak to one department they bad mouth and blame the other. They are completely dysfunctional and unprofessional. If you want to be scammed, go with the Closet Factory. PLEASE WHATEVER YOU DO, AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

Zero stars would better describe the experience with Closet Factory in Fanwood. After spending time going through designs and signing off on final drawings, the first day of installation, they show up with wrong drawings and wrong product and had the audacity to charge my credit card for the balance. Almost 3 months later, and we are still waiting for installation to be completed. They are unresponsive. Product is disappointing, the lingerie insert is plastic sheeting, almost all the shelves are chipped. The lighting is tenuous at best. Installers are not familiar with product. When installing some of the lighting, the installer asked me if I knew how it was supposed to work! Worst experience with a contractor.

Horrible customer service stay away. Install nightmare. Drawers are different color than rest of closet. Called 4 times since install date. Zero call backs Zero answers on problem.
Unauthorized credit transaction taken without authorization. This company is a mess. Waited 4 months for a job done wrong. Now no answers on fixing the issue.

We want to praise Bryson and Robert for doing an outstanding job installing our closet systems. They were on time, efficient, neat and very pleasant.

We had the most wonderful experience working with Eden, designing a built-in wall unit for our daughter’s playroom. She was communicative, professional, and always gave us her honest opinion. Her attention to detail made the project run flawlessly. Also, all the staff and installation team was on time, professional, and cleaned up afterwards. They taught us how to use and remove shelving and called to let us know when they were on their way and followed up if we needed anything else. We would definitely recommend Eden and Closet Factory for our next in-home projects and to all our friends and family. We just finished updating our closets for our entire house including pantry and the closets came out really amazing . The process was seamless - our designer Angela helped us designing a closet based on our needs . She was very patient and changed the designs several times , till we are satisfied. She was very professional , friendly and addressed all our concerns . Working with her for a breeze. The installation process also went smoothly . Andres our installer did a great job and cleaned the house after the job. I highly recommend Angela and the closet factory.

Terrible customer service. No follow up to concerns and questions. The product is falling apart. I would use another company. The maitland office is awful.

We had our Master Bedroom closet installed by Closet Factory on 4/22/22. We are totally satisfied with the entire process from start to end. Claudia Engel did a wonderful job designing the closet. The 2 gentlemen, Davis and Javy, did a great job on the installation side. They were all professional, courteous, and efficient. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their closet. We could not be happier with our pantry and master closets. Brett was awesome to work with and provided a great plan for the closets. Tim did a great install job and completed it ahead of schedule. We will definitely purchase from them again!

Haley Bradford was our designer closet associate. She was talented, super friendly happy go lucky personally and her design drawings etc. Just came out perfect. I had so many clothes and now I still have space and it’s so organized. 61 years old it’s cool not scrambling for where I put something because it’s all so visible. Thank you Haley
