While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more
To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. We recognise we may not catch everything, and you can flag anything you think we may have missed. Read more

ClipSalvage is a desktop application for macOS and Windows that recovers deleted Tesla Sentry Mode and Dashcam video clips from formatted, corrupted, or deleted USB drives. Formatting a Tesla USB drive only erases the file system index -- the video data usually remains physically on the drive until those sectors are overwritten. ClipSalvage scans raw disk sectors for MP4 signatures using cluster-aligned file carving, bypassing the file system entirely, so it can find deleted clips that no longer appear in the file browser. It also detects and, where possible, reassembles clips whose data has been fragmented into non-contiguous pieces. The app recognises every Tesla camera position on both hardware generations: six angles (front, back, left repeater, right repeater, left pillar, right pillar) on 2023+ AI4/HW4 vehicles, and four angles on pre-2023 AI3/HW3 vehicles, which have no pillar cameras. Original filenames are recovered where they survive; when a filename has been overwritten, an on-device AI vision model identifies the camera angle instead. Every recovered clip receives a confidence score from 0-100 based on factors including MP4 header validity, timestamp plausibility, and Tesla-specific file dimensions. All processing happens 100% on-device -- no footage, thumbnails, or disk contents are ever uploaded to a server. ClipSalvage is built with Flutter for the interface and Rust for the recovery engine, and is available in English and Simplified Chinese. ClipSalvage costs $29 as a one-time purchase, with no subscription. A free trial includes a full scan, preview, and three free recoveries with no time limit, so buyers can verify results before purchasing. ClipSalvage is published by Qloud LTD.
