Written by the company

Climbro is a smart finger strength testing and training system designed specifically for climbers. By combining specialized hardware with a dedicated app, Climbro helps climbers measure progress, identify weaknesses, and follow personalized training plans based on real data rather than guesswork. Unlike simple measuring devices, Climbro uses standardized wooden edges with consistent geometry, depth, and rounding. This allows tests and training protocols to remain reliable and comparable over time. The system is built around research-based testing methods and is used by climbers, coaches, gyms, physiotherapists, and researchers worldwide. The Climbro ecosystem includes Climbro Pro — our professional-grade training and testing board — and Climbro Mini, a more compact and flexible version designed for everyday climbers, home use, travel, and warm-ups. Both devices use the same app and training logic, allowing users to seamlessly switch between devices while keeping their progress and data consistent. The Climbro app guides users through strength, endurance, power, and performance testing, then automatically creates adaptive training plans based on individual goals and results. Real-time feedback during training helps users stay in the correct intensity zones and train more effectively and safely. Our goal is simple: to make finger strength training more measurable, structured, and accessible for climbers of all levels — from motivated beginners to elite athletes. Climbro is developed by climbers with a long-term focus on performance, injury prevention, and sustainable progression. We continuously improve the system based on feedback from the climbing community and ongoing real-world use.

Training finally started making sense with Climbro

I’ve been climbing for years, but structured finger training was never really my thing. I also tried devices like Tindeq at the gym, but it still felt like there was a lot of guesswork involved and I never really managed to stick with it consistently.

What I like about Climbro is that it actually gives me a personalized training plan based on my own data and goals, then guides me through each session step by step. The real-time feedback and stats make the whole process surprisingly motivating, and for the first time I can clearly see and measure my progress over time.

It just feels much more complete and easier to follow than anything I’ve tried before.
