I tested ClickCease during the 7-day free trial, but unfortunately it didn’t work for our setup (we’re using Magento). The integration and overall setup were not as straightforward as expected, and in our case, it didn’t provide any real value.

I cancelled the subscription less than an hour after the free trial ended and immediately requested a refund. However, I only received a response 8 days later, and the request was declined.

The delay in customer support, combined with the overall poor customer service experience, was disappointing. This kind of response time and handling is not something I’m used to seeing today.

Overall, based on my experience, I would not recommend ClickCease—particularly for Magento stores looking for an easy and effective solution.

I signed up to CHEQ Essentials (ClickCease) on 21 Oct 2025 after the pricing was presented as “$275 / month.” The page gave a strong month-to-month impression. Only in much smaller text was it indicated this monthly price was tied to an annual commitment.

What I expected: a normal monthly subscription I could cancel anytime, with billing stopping after cancellation.

What happened: I cancelled via their platform on 5 Dec 2025, but support told me I’m locked into a 12-month term and they will keep charging my card every month until the end of that term.

To me, this is the definition of a subscription trap:

Monthly price is prominent, while the minimum term / lock-in isn’t equally clear.

You can “cancel,” but payments continue for many months anyway.

I’m not reviewing the technical idea of click-fraud protection. I’m reviewing the pricing transparency + cancellation outcome, and in my experience it was misleading and unfair.

Advice to others: very careful with what you signed up for.

Got a free trial from them but had to add my card but as its Xmas week couldn't run the campaigns or ads as I had problems with my Google ads policies but Clickcease took money.. sad to see a big company hungry for small money when my campaigns or ads never started. This was their reply

"Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate this request in accordance with our policy. I can confirm that our team has already extended the trial period by an additional seven days, for a total of fourteen days.
With respect to refunds, requests must be submitted on the same day the charge is processed. For the upcoming billing cycle, you may update the payment method and replace it with your client’s credit card."

SO CONTACTING MY BANK NEXT TO GET IT BACK!!!

This is, without a doubt, the worst service provider we have ever dealt with. Click Cease nearly put our company out of business. They repeatedly reported that they were saving us money and protecting us from fraud clicks, but this was a complete fabrication. In reality, their system was so aggressive and faulty that it was actively blocking genuine, paying customers. As a result, we experienced a catastrophic decline in sales, exceeding 50%.

When we realized the scale of the damage we disconnected, we emailed them to cancel the service. They refused to process the cancellation directly and insisted we had to "do it ourselves" through their complicated dashboard. To make matters worse, they then charged us €2,000 and have since refused to refund this amount, despite their service causing profound financial harm.

Do not trust the reports they send you. There are many more legitimate and competent companies out there that offer genuine click fraud protection without damaging your business. Avoid "Click Cease" at all costs.

Great experience with ClickCease. Fast support and an excellent tool that helps save ad spend and use the budget more wisely.

I have had some frustrating issues with Click Cease, but support has been great. Doren had a Zoom meeting with me to help me out, and in the chatbox, Teo fixed a problem that I thought was unfixable.

The first month and a half went fine, but after the attacker made some adjustments, all of ClickCease’s protections are being bypassed. It’s a waste of money.

ClickCease has saved me a significant amount of money by blocking fake clicks and protecting my ad budget. Their customer support team is brilliant — fast, friendly and genuinely helpful. They assisted me with downgrading my package quickly and without any hassle. Highly recommended for anyone running paid ads.

The PPC Protection with Google Ads has great features and works - best of all. Thanks to their "live chat" feature - the team takes the time to resolve via chat or email and did an excellent job communicating on an updated account process the past few days. Great A+

While it is hard to assess the exact effectiveness (but knowledgeable people swear by it), at the very least the customer service is great!

Received a renewal invoice and requested cancellation on the same day. Refused to provide refund and instead said I had service for another year.

What a joke and waste of money!

The best company with the most amazing technical support team I have ever seen! The company does an excellent job, and I can already see significant savings in my Ads account. To give you an idea, I saved more than 30% of my yearly budget for 2024–2025.

The dashboards and reports are clear and easy to understand. And if something is not clear or does not work, the technical support team helps within a minute, literally a minute! I’m truly impressed by the high-quality service.

I strongly advise and highly recommend ClickCease to anyone who is unsure if it’s worth it. Yes, it definitely is!
