  1. Legal Services

Written by the company

ClerkHero is a California-based legal technology company built to help drivers fight back against traffic tickets—without the stress, confusion, or high costs of hiring a lawyer. Our mission is simple: empower everyday people with the same tools and strategies that attorneys use, but at a fraction of the price. Using our step-by-step online platform, California drivers can quickly prepare a complete defense package for their traffic citation, including the Trial by Written Declaration (TR-205) form. This process allows drivers to contest their ticket by mail, avoiding time wasted in court. ClerkHero guides users through each step with clear instructions, plain-language explanations, and built-in quality checks so nothing is missed. Unlike expensive law firms or outdated “ticket clinics,” ClerkHero is software-driven. That means faster turnaround, transparent pricing, and no hidden fees. Our hybrid system leverages modern automation and human-verified templates to maximize success rates while keeping costs predictable. ClerkHero currently focuses exclusively on California traffic citations, including speeding tickets, red light violations, stop sign tickets, and more. We are committed to expanding our services over time and building the most trusted platform for traffic ticket defense. We believe that everyone deserves fair access to justice. By reducing barriers, educating drivers, and providing affordable tools, ClerkHero is reshaping how Californians fight traffic tickets.

I had never dealt with the Clerk of…

I had never dealt with the Clerk of Court’s traffic division before, and I was honestly expecting a long, stressful process. Instead, I was really impressed. The clerk who helped me wasn’t a lawyer, but you’d never know it from the way they handled everything. They were professional, patient, and explained the steps in plain English so I actually understood what was going on. What could have been a headache turned out to be quick and easy thanks to their help. Excellent service!!

I really didn’t want to spend $500+ hiring a lawyer to fight my ticket. I decided to try ClerkHero since it was a lot cheaper, and I’m so glad I did! The process was quick, easy to use, and way less intimidating than I expected, and I ended up winning my traffic ticket.
