I am an elder who really doesnt know too much about computers so CleanMy Mac has been a godsend to me. I have used this for several years now and my mac runs like it is brand new.

I needed a tool to keep my MAC tidy. I selected CleanMyMac. It works. It is routinely maintained. The price is affordable. They do not spam with offers from themselves or other vendors.

App is great at clearing space. When reviewing photos that are similar, a compare option would be better. Small thumbnails are unacceptable.

It's the Customer Service. From the very beginning of my use of CleanMyMac, I found I could always get help if needed. But I also think it is an excellent product, constantly reassuring that my Macs are safe.

I have been a CleanMyMac (CMM) customer for more than 15 years. v2.0 I believe took a very long time and I regret my impatience at the time (please forgive me!) but it was well worth the wait. I just wish there was a more transparent timeline for development at the time to set customers' expectations. CMM has been the single most reliable, polished, supportive and effective system utility I have used on my Macs over the years. It's the kind of thing I would buy for my own family; so I bought a 3 (or 5?)-licence pack! I am sad that CleanMyPC was retired, but glad CMM made it out the other end. I think there should be more advertising for CleanMyMac that illustrates that it's not just needed once your system requires cleaning. I use CMM very soon after I create a new user profile for all of the maintenance tasks that are scheduled. It is a little battery intensive and causes my fan to go wild but that just tells me what ever is happening under the hood is working. As a freelance print journalist I would love to write a proper review at some point. One feature that could be helpful is a full Help index with explanations (and technical explanations nested in expandable subsections!) on what exactly is going on under the hood, and a technical account for why the tasks are important. I hope CMM is around for many more years to come, if not forever.

The CleanMyMac software is very easy to use, quick and efficient and allows me peace of mind at all times just knowing the program is on my computer and ready to use when I so choose.

I have been using "CleanMyMac" for several years. When an upgrade was offered I purchased it. It seems that I am paying for 2/two versions of this product.
And I can't seem to delete or discontinue the first one I acquired. Not sure if the first one was under a different email but that is not the case. Please help me delete the older version of CleanMyMac and keep the second one.
I need help with this.

I've been with CleanMyMac for maybe 20 years. It really does seem to keep it in tip top condition.

CleanMyMac customer support has been responsive to my enquiries and suggestions. The software is effective even though I did not like the last changes they made to the user interface. I thought the previous user interface was more intuitive and easier to understand than the current one.
Also Iwsa disappoint to learn there wasn't a log of the internet speed checks the user can initiate from the "Menu" in the tool bar.
I was pleased to see the list of connected devices in the "Menu" (via Bluetooth) as I had requested a few years ago

I have a 27' iMac with intel processor with the infamous fusion memory that is very slow. Based on CleanMyMac recommendation, I did a clean install 18 months ago and run CleanMyMac each day when I start up the iMac and it runs so much faster. I have a MacBookAir with M4 Apple silicon, but I do not want to give up the superb 27" display on the iMac and Apple has no solution for me to use it as a display for my MacBook Air. CleanMyMac allows me to continue using the iMac until security updates from Apple stop coming.

The scans that are available to me on CleanMyMac are very important - performance, security, excessive wasted space due to unused files, documents, etc. They also appear to be comprehensive and then give me the option of accepting the recommendations, which I like and typically do. I feel much more secure when the result of deep scans is no threats.

Your software cleans my iMac from viruses, malware.
In addition to it it reminds users of any software update and as soon as you agree, it updates this software right away. Excellent!!!

I have 3 items that I am concerned about.

1. When using the "Clean Up" features it also deletes parts that prevent certain operations from working.

2. When I want to free up memory instead of having a simple way to accomplish this task I have to go through a few screens instead of being able to open CMM and clicking on one button.

3. The option for deleting "left over" pieces of a program it does not give an adequate description. I am therefor reluctant to use this feature.

I absolutely love CleanMyMac. It's fast, thorough, easy to maneuver and has a beautiful interface. It ensures my laptop runs proficiently. My MacBook loves her!!

It feels good to know your Mac is clean and organized. I’ve used this for years and it is worth every penny.
