If anyone is trying to get hold of clean and coat ltd they have changed their name to East Coast Exteriors the address is 54 Yarmouth Rd, Norwich NR7 0HE
They haven't changed they are still ripping everyone off and praying on the vulnerable

Be aware I had a month ago 2 men just turn-up saying they had worked for Clean and Coat and the company had now gone out of business, and they were checking on past works, worryingly they had lifted some roof tiles saying that there was birds nesting under, and produced a nest and saying that the under felt was breaking-up and they could fix it for £600.

Suspected cowboys and told them to leave pronto, pity I did not take their registration number.

Tried to inform Clean & Coat but no answer to calls.

Work was completed but no warranty was received despite emails and leaving messages.

This company needs avoiding because they don't complete works agreed but demand payment. Also their warranties they give aren't worth paper written on. I am going to report them to everyone i possibly can.I tried getting hold of them but no reply or call back from my messages

Initially I was pleased with my roof coating, but a very small defect developed, which I hoped would be rectified under warranty. Phone messages I left remained unanswered and now I get no communications at all, not even after writing to the director. - It appears they have ceased trading!

We accepted a quote in March 2022 for a new patio, plus cleaning & renovating brick-weave paths, expecting it to be done in May. They finished in October 2022, having not completed anything fully. Their site manager promised to complete the work but has not reappeared. This company are almost impossible to contact - phones not answered, emails not returned. When dates were promised, not once were they kept. Some of trheir staff seemed good, but nothing has been finished well except the actual laying of the slabs. I do not advise dealing with them.

This company are a bunch of fraudsters. They agreed a contract to lay a resin drive back in October 2022, we paid a deposit. In November 2022 they came and jet washed the drive, they wanted a further payment, so far I have paid £4000. Despite numerous phone calls, e-mail ect. no response and no resin drive, I have gone down the legal path to get my money back but not holding my breath. It looks like Clean and Coat have changed names and my not be in existence, or have changed their name to a different one. It could be that they are operating out of Great Yarmouth, it would seem all of Clean and Coats previous directors are working for this company. I will continue to pursue this company and hopefully I can get the police involved, this is serious fraud as they seem to target older people.

DO NOT USE AT ANY COST!! Fraudsters, liars and cheats, plain and simple. Full of promises but do not deliver. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!

Disappointing that although their website is down, they still appear to be functioning in their role of fraudsters. My review of last November seems to have disappeared, so I would just like to reiterate that I paid a deposit in November 2022, and signed a contract to the effect that if I cancelled within 14 days, I would get reimbursed. I cancelled, and they never paid me back the money they owed me. The representative who came round called himself Steven Parker. I got reimbursed by my bank for the money lost, which is good for me, but unfortunate in the sense that the money should have been paid by Clean and Coat. I am sorry this review relates to an experience from last year, but if it goes any way to stopping any other vulnerable parties from getting ripped off, then it has been worth writing.

Watch out people lots of elderly people have been ripped off by this company and promised the world they take their deposits and years later still haven’t had the work done. The company has breached the contract and we cannot contact them as all phone lines have been closed

I originally put on a review last year about a supposed thermal wall paint on the outside of my house. I have now had conformation from a decent trades person that the paint used is likely to be paint for internal walls and will have no thermal properties at all. This confirms what I thought was the case as the house is just as cold as it always has been. On a positive note the clean and coat website is down so I really do hope all these scammers have lost their jobs and the company closed down.

No communication. Our roof is still leaking after they came back twice to sort it. Nobody is answering phones now

I paid a deposit Feb 2022 for a replacement door and a window. I am still waiting. Contact by phone only successful once when promises were made. E mails and letters have had no response. I have asked for return of deposit but am not holding my breath. Terrible Company. Do not use.

They took my order and money in June and said it would probably be done by August 6th or just after. As the months went by, I kept ringing them and sometimes they even answered. Unfortunately when they did answer, the person was never there and would ring me back. Of course this never happened. In November I started legal action against them. Suddenly on 5th December I got a phone call at 9am to say they would be there in an hour to fit the patio doors, even though I said I didn’t want them. I went out to avoid a confrontation and sent my daughter to deal with them. The chap who turned up didn’t work for them,but was self employed and promised me he would get the job done by the end of the day so I reluctantly let him do it. He was true to his word and did a good job ( Peter), but I would never use Clean and Coat again.

We had a conservatory roof fitted 04/02/2022 ever since we have had in leak rang every week but no one rings back after emailing they tell me they are coming and no one turns up
Very stressful but we will now get in touch with trading standards Don't use this company !

We are in the middle of having our loft insulated by this cowboy firm. I have paid two thirds of the money. The deposit before starting (or we would "never see this price again" - should have raised my intuition vibes then!), one day before they came. Next payment when the first part of the job was done. (the next day) The two guys "Greg" and Dave were great. Greg got on with the first part and Dave brought all the gear in. Greg even hoovered everywhere upstairs where the mess had been made and left it spotless. The salesman, Stephen, told me someone would be in touch to arrange the day to do the last part, the foam. Now they will not answer my calls or texts to tell me when they will come and finish the job which is the important part. Stephen and Gerard are both ignoring my calls, yet when my partner called on a different number asking for a quote for loft insulation, miraculously Stephen called him straight back! Gerard answered the phone one day and pretended to be "Tony". When I did manage to speak to Stephen and asked who Tony was, he said he had no idea! Don't touch this company! I will take this all back if they come and finish the job or even answer my calls but let me tell you now, their communication is terrible! And they lie! I really wish I had looked into them further. Stephen the salesman was well aware that we are going through a bereavement at the moment and that money is really tight due to funeral costs. He saw how much stress I was under and how upset I got and yet he still did this. I have lost all faith in humanity and tradesmen. Don't touch them with a barge pole! Unless of course, Gerard, or Tony, if you prefer, and Stephen you resolve this ASAP! If you do, I will rectify my review here. Get it sorted and restore my faith!

AVOID. This company has caused my 80 year old grandmother so much stress. They were quick to take £1400 from her back in June to install some french doors and then went quiet. Communication has been horrendous. French doors finally got fitted yesterday (05/12/22) 6 months late... And only once we had complained to trading standards and a small claims court proceeding was imminent!! DO NOT USE - NOT WORTH THE STRESS AND HASSLE.

Still awaiting for response from clean and coat concerning on going problems with leaking roof on conservatory and ceiling sagging .Sent letter which was signed for 4th November.No response again .

Decided to have our roof painted after looking at our neighbours bungalow that clean and coat painted a few years ago, we are both very pleased with the result. David and Gregg worked very hard, did a great job and cleaned everywhere afterwards.

Really pleased with the roof renovation work carried out on our home by this locally based company.
Dave and Greg worked like Trojans to thoroughly wash and clean the roof before making good where needed on the tiles and edges, and then applying the protective coating.
Most impressed with the finished product and friendly customer service throughout.
