Seeing as most of the reviews are from 2020 Covid, I'd like to make an update for anyone interested in purchasing any items from this company.
As of 2024, they are a fu!king sh!t company that has zero CS post Covid-19 lockdown.
If rumors from 2022 are true with the company being sold, so be it, however...
The phone line is still the same with 'contact us via email for CS, the phone lines are down due to covid' -- Not sure about the rest of you, but I can call any number of businesses and none of them have a email only voice mail. To top it off their emails and social media messages leave zero reply.
Word to the wise, either use Paypal as a transaction or have a good credit card company that you can dispute transactions with because when their service inevitably fails you won't get in touch with anyone via phone, email, or social media chat for assistance on a return/exchange; and forget a store credit and a 'promise' that it will show up on your next order because that too is bullsh*t because yet again, you need to get ahold of someone first.
Their communication is subpar. Their inventory is hit or, in more cases than not, miss.
You are an order number. You are not a valued customer. Take your business elsewhere this company doesn't deserve your money.

They stole my razor and money
I sent my razor in for rescaling. Got a voicemail from Bethany asking a question about the order and was instructed to email them. I've been emailing since April to no avail.
I never got the service I paid for and they stole my razor.
PLEASE learn from my mistake and always check the online ratings and reviews before buying anything from a new company.
Absolute garbage company
Absolute garbage company, they sent my package USPS and it never arrived. They refused to resend or refund the money. The response was basically F you it's not our problem. Avoid!
Never Order from Them
I bought three Hart Steel razors from them. My order date is 26.11.2022. My order number is #264674. My order was never shipped and I never got a response to the emails I sent. I wrote from Facebook, I messaged from Instagram, but they do not reply in any way. I sent an e-mail to cancel the order, they did not even respond to it. Liars and fraudsters.
Not Sure If My Order Will Be Fulfilled
I ordered 4 shaving soaps in the late afternoon of Friday, July 8, 2022, which I paid for by credit card.
On Tueday, July 12, I received an email notifying me of the USPS tracking number, however when I went to track the shipment, the tracking number was cancelled the same day it was issued.
There is no telephone service anymore. They are using Covid aa an excuse for ignoring their customers.

I ordered a shaving kit in late November as a Christmas present. My credit card was fully charged and the order never arrived. The period between Thanksgiving and New Years I, repeatedly, emailed Classic Shaving to find out the status of my order, with never any response back. I then looked up Classic Shaving’s Customer Service number on-line and called that number. Classic Shaving’s pre-recorded voicemail noted due to COVID-19 the customer service number is not monitored please contact us via email. Buyer beware regarding Classic Shaving/the Grooming Network.

If I could give them ZERO stars I would. I think 1 star is way too generous. I have attempted numerous times to get an answer from their customer service team as I have requested a refund time after time.
They use the lame excuse of COVID to not answer any phone calls so you are relegated to sending an email into oblivion that will never receive a reply.

Unfortunately I didn’t read all the bad reviews on this fake company until after I paid. How can they get away with this? Why have they not been forced out of business? This is just plain wrong.
This company is full of it
So I’m going to start off by saying I used this company for 3 years despite my gut telling me not to. I found this company a few years ago when I first made the switch to a straight razor. I didn’t know much, and I ended up buying a razor from them, used it maybe three times before it lost the edge. The fact is, these guys claim to be an American company, yet they sell Rebranded gold dollar razors (made in China) to people who don’t know any better (at insane markups). So besides the fact that they push garbage on people, the other (good) razors they have are either never in stock, or are marked up by 100-200% more than other smaller sites. And don’t forget, these people were ALSO scalping home made hand sanitizer for insane prices and leaving thousands of people unfulfilled during a pandemic. My last issue with them was when covid first happened I tried to get my razors honed, I paid for the service, the next day I received an email from them about an employee or family member (I can’t remember exactly) dying from covid, things might be backed up. So I email them “hey when can I send my blades in to be honed?” Received no reply for FIVE MONTHS and several other emails. I was trying to be patient, you know, death is touchy. The day AFTER I called my credit card company, I received an email from them “why did you dispute the charge? You could have just sent it in” lol that should tell you what these people care about. They target noobs, they sell them as much crap for as much money as they can get, until the noobs figure out what they’re actually doing and move on.

Don't waste your money
I had previously had good experience with this company, so I placed a $300 order with them, 2 weeks later the order still hasn't shipped, a half dozen emails were never replied to, and I'm out $300. Don't waste your time or money.
They have no customer service.
Like others, I have sent my money, my account has been debited and crickets. I’ve sent several emails with no response and have disputed one charge already (the razor was supposedly shave-ready).
My current order sits untouched and at this point I’m going to email once more, give them ANOTHER week to respond before I dispute that charge for lack of fulfillment.
Do NOT buy from this company as you money will go down a rabbit hole and your only recourse is to email (due to COVID, they are unable to answer phone calls, unlike virtually every other business I’ve dealt with since March). Since they can’t seem to respond to emails, you’ll be throwing your money away.
Kudos for your Wool Fat Handmade Shaving Soap
I have been ordering Wool Fat Handmade Shaving Soap from Classic for years. Husband loves it! I was leary at first since it was so expensive, but it is so creamy and moisturizing! He skin is so soft afterwards. It washes clean out of his razor making the razor last longer. No soap scum in the sink. The cake lasts at least a year unlike cheap drug store cakes. Plus I ordered Black Lavender which makes his face smell yummy. Lots of other scents, too. Can't recommend this product any higher. Thank you, Classic for a job well done!!

The unscented hand sanitizer is horrible. It does have a bad smell and is really greasy. For the price they charged it's a waste.

Almost a week since my order and it still hasn't been shipped. This was a gift which would have been given at the party had a company actually fulfilled the order within their listed time. Ordered Friday and got a notification they finally printed the shipping label almost a week later.
