Classic Models has been an amazing agency for me. As someone who’s not just young, they’ve really helped me find exciting and paid roles in commercials and extra work. I highly recommend them!

I attended a photo shoot on 21/01/2025 everyone was very pleasant and made you feel at ease, the first thing I was surprised at was the premises, I thought they would have been a bit more professional looking, everything looked a bit tatty, I too was taken in by the sales talk telling me how I was going to earn lots of money, going on ships advertising cruises and mentioning M & S and other big fashion companies, but I took it all with a pinch of salt because I thought if they were dealing with companies like that shouldn’t they be a bit more professional looking, when I got back home I told my daughter what I was going to do, she laughed and said I’m sorry to burst your bubble mom but that sounds like a scam, so on hearing this I got in touch with the Fraud people also my bank who both looked into this company, my report got dismissed as they couldn’t find enough evidence, but I was surprised when my manager called Susan told me all the things I had to do to get me started I wasn’t happy because I paid them £2,300 what for!! I have done everything she asked me too and now I’ve tried emailing her, all my emails keep coming back. Has she left, I was never informed if she was. I have noticed no-one has said they have done a modelling job!!!

AVOID AT ANY COST!
The company is only after your money and everything is so fake. They promise you a lot of god stuff, to send your portfolio to 120 agencies they are working with, but this is not true. I have lost around £2000 with them. They will make you feel good, confident and special, but reality will be totally different.
Think twice!!!!!

Every review is about their shoot? Not getting work? Go to them for a good shoot for 2300 or try some agencies that will actually get you work instead of this appauling company that targets older people

You do NOT NEED A PORTFOLIO to become a model!! Just a headshot will do…. You can join starnow? Or purple port? Purple port are photographers willing to do free photoshoots to build their own portfolio and help models build their own.
Portfolios should cost £300 - £500 MAX

I WAS INVITED TO A PHOTOSHOOT TO CREATE A PORTFOLIO WHICH COULD LEAD TO MODELLING WORK FOR A MATURE MALE LIKE MYSELF, PHOTOS WERE BRILLIANT. THEN COMES THE SELL, WE WILL DO THIS, WE WILL DO THAT, WORK WILL FLOW IN AND I COULD BE EARNING LOTS OF MONEY. TO DO THIS I HAD TO FORK OUT FOR A TOP PORTFOLIO AND MANAGED ACCOUNT, SUSAN WOULD BE MY ACCOUNT MANAGER.
WELL, SHE SEEMS TO BE EXPECTING ME TO DO ALL THE WORK. There is also long periods in email response.
So be vary wary before parting with your money, the sell its brilliant, but im pretty sure they give the same sell to EVERYONE.O

Please be aware. This is not a modeling agency. They are a company that sells photography portfolios. They use misleading tactics to get people to come into their studio to upsell them a portfolio. If you are looking for a set of photos for your portfolio, then they can assist. However, they cannot find you modelling jobs. Classic Models and Aphoto studio are the same company.

I had a great experience with the photoshoot, this opportunity was possible thanks to classic- models, that was very supportive and above kept the refund promised made building a trust. I was supported pre and post photoshoots.

After reaching out for an advert I saw on facebook, I was contacted by Dave who told me that they are looking for older models for catalogues, social media adverts etc. He told me that I could easily earn £1000 per shoot and that I could start a week or 2 after a test shoot that they hold at an exclusive photography studio in London. All they needed was a £50 deposit. It sounded amazing! This should have been the first red flag. I was pressured into paying the deposit via PayPal but was assured that I would get my money back if I showed up to the photoshoot. So I paid it. Upon looking at the email and performing some research, I found that Classic Models is the same company as aphoto studio (the supposed 'top fashion studio') where they send you for your test shoot (this is evident in responses to bad reviews on this site where the email address used is Aphoto Studio domain). I found that neither companies have been registered and this is evident when doing a search on the government Companies House. There was a 'Classic Models' company, however it dissolved in January 2024 and shortly thereafter, the reviews for this company began. It seems much too suspicious to me. The other negative reviews supported my suspicions. It is dishonest that the company uses false pretences to get people to come for photoshoots that they did not ask for when they were under the assumption that they would be offered work thereafter. I did not go to the photoshoot as I felt very uneasy about the whole situation and I am very happy I did not go reading the experiences from the other reviewers. Dave was forceful and gave me the perfect sales pitch. Upon further research, I now know that no legitimate modelling agency would ask for money. I have learnt my lesson.

The photo experience was second to none. I liked everything that happened during the time all staff were polite and helpful. I was not pressured to pay for a portfolio but it was explained to me the importance of having a portfolio.I liked that despite the busyness of the area I was able to have beautiful pictures.

The whole day was fabulous, from getting the train from Newcastle at 7.57, arriving at the photo studio at about 11.35.
Although I was a bit nervous and apprehensive.
As I walked towards the reception, the welcome I received was so friendly and helpful, they made me feel at ease straight away.
My bag was taken away, to organise the clothes ready for the shoot.
I was shown the clothes chosen, giving me the option to agree or disagree with their choices.
Then I changed into the first outfit (casual), had my makeup up done, then I was off, first photos in one of the rooms at the studio, first shoot done.
Into second outfit ( casual again) outside in Soho, posing at doors metal railings and on steps, second photo shoot done.
Into third outfit (smart but still quite casual), once again in the streets of Soho, third photo shoot done.
Into fourth outfit, (smart with trousers jacket and shirt), once again outside in Soho, then back to the studio for more photos indoors.
Then a meeting with the staff from Classic Models, they were really friendly, laughed at all my quips. Then time to go.
I can only say the staff at the studio and from Classic Models were friendly, but professional.
I would recommend this to anyone.

I am 68, nearly 69 and this was one of my best experiences.
Hopefully, I can become a super model, with the help of all the people I met during this experience.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience during the recent shoot at Soho Fashion Studio with Classic Models. I am truly grateful for the time, effort, and professionalism shown by the entire team. From the makeup artist to the stylist and photographer, everyone made me feel incredibly welcome and supported throughout the day.

Classic Model photography studio is a great way to get started on a budding modelling career. In particular, for me in the older mature 50+ category.
Once there, it's a easy going welcoming place in D'Arbally St, Soho off Oxford St, so also easy from Underground stations to get to.
Kane, the guy who was my first contact is great at putting you at ease and sorting out your outfits. Just a few combinations and he'll get you looking at your most effective! No need to bring too many outfits, just keep them versatile.
The make-up and photographer also did a great job and by listening and relaxing with the photographer will get the best results from you. With digital SLR knowing you are doing well in the poses is known immediately, so adds to your confidence during the shooting.
A slick and no-fuss first time modelling experience is assured.
Afterwards, you have the opportunity to go further to the portfolio stage depending on your reasons for initially attending and how successful you came across, thinking of the future ahead.

I met with two representatives from Classic Models and they were very reassuring and friendly. They took the time to explain everything and didn’t pressurise me into anything. It was a valuable day and I felt I learned a lot.

Best day out, felt like an absolute queen, the team was really lovely from the start, Makeup was a dream I've never looked so good the photographer was brill also not forgetting the man who styled me!! All really chatty making me feel at ease highly recommended the day and the pictures blew me away

I was very nervous on the day, as I have never done a photo shoot before, but everyone made me feel very welcome and at ease when I arrived and throughout the entirety of it. It was a pleasant day and it was lovely being made up and having my hair done. An enjoyable day and a great experience!

I am about to embark on an amazing journey with Classic Models. From having initial portfolio created in a super professional, look transforming London Studio to the encouragement and support given to embark on this adventure in my fifties has been amazing. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend them.

Great day out , gives you a look into a different world , buzzing to be around such professional people , hair makeup ideas given and carried out by lovely girls ! No pressure at all from anyone concerned loved loved loved it , and you will too !!
