Chris Palumbo and his staff were wonderful during our time of need. He was so supportive and led us through every step of what we needed to do. At a time like this, one isn't usually thinking clearly and Chris was there to offer suggestions and direct us in every way. He wasn't pushy and made us very comfortable. I highly recommend Clancy Funeral Home and Chris Palumbo and the entire staff.

I was impressed and completely satisfied with the services for my uncle that were conducted at Clancy Fneral Home in East Haven. Chris Palumbo and his staff were cordial and completely professional in dealing with my family during a difficult time. The funeral home itself was neat and clean and there was plenty of room for my aunt and uncles large families. The funeral home was needed for calling hours the night before the church service. This was the funeral directors sole responsibility to our family, however, he went above and beyond by being at the church service the next morning. There he made sure all of our needs were met, escorted my uncles family in and out of church and stayed for the entire mass. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of the Clancy Funeral Home staff. I will use them again and would highly recommend them.

Chris Palumbo and his staff are amazing. At a time that is most difficult for families, Chris and his staff were very sensitive, thoughtful, caring and thorough. They went above and beyond what most people would do. They left nothing to chance and were there for the family after the wake ended and after the funeral. We never worried about anything. My family and I would recommend Clancy to everyone. They made a hard time in our lives much more bearable and beautiful. We will be forever grateful to Chris and his staff.

The title line says it all – at a time of extreme sadness, Chris Palumbo of Clancy’s Funeral Home made our life easier beginning with the first phone call to decide which funeral home to use for my mom – and my family is grateful that we chose Chris/Clancy’s. He explained everything upfront, gave us options that we would never have thought of on our own (sunset funeral mass which was just so beautiful) – listened to our suggestions and incorporated them as best he could. Although it was under these circumstances, we were pleased as to how everything was handled – a big thank you to Chris and his staff.

From the first visit with Chris Palumbo where he left a basketball game with him sons to come consult with our family, to placing the last rock on my mother-in-laws grave, he was the consummate professional. This is a man who has compassion when it is needed most. He took care of EVERYTHING, even things we weren't thinking we needed. During a torrential down poor during the grave side ceremony Chris made sure all of us were dry while he was soaking wet. He even thought to bring a box of dry dirt for us to throw on the casket so we didn't have to stick our hands in the mud. He knew more about the Jewish burial than any of us.
We hope we don't need to call Chris to bury another family member any time soon, but we would recommend him and Clancy Funeral Home to anyone. If you are looking for exceptional service, look no further than Chris and Clancy Funeral Home.

My younger brother passed away recently and when looking to make arrangements we came upon Clancy Funeral Home. This was my family’s first time dealing with Clancy and I honestly do not have a negative thing to say. They were wonderful. Chris could not have been any nicer to my family, He is truly a sincere individual that treats you with respect and takes the time necessary to go over everything and answer any question you may have. The day of the service was very nice and everything about it was very welcoming and comfortable. Death is unfortunately something we all have to deal with be it young and unexpected or due to old age /disease.
