About ClaimFlights – Your Dedicated Passenger Advocate Airlines have lawyers. Now you do too. ClaimFlights isn't just another automated legal tech app. We are your trusted passenger advocate in the fight for your air passenger rights. We help you enforce your rightful compensation of up to €600 under EU Regulation 261/2004 for flight delays, cancellations, overbookings, or missed connections. We sue where others give up. Airlines often reject legitimate claims, citing "extraordinary circumstances" such as bad weather or technical defects. While other portals often give up or accept cheap vouchers to avoid legal costs, we fight for you. We use our own historical flight databases, advanced weather analysis, and aircraft tracking (ADS-B) to systematically refute airlines' false excuses in court. We are the specialists for difficult cases – even with stubborn low-cost carriers. Keep more of your money: Radical transparency: Many competitors advertise standard fees but hide massive court fees in the fine print, which can cost you up to 50% of your compensation if a case goes to court. ClaimFlights is your price-performance champion. We focus on radical transparency: Fair flat-rate commission (approx. 25%): With us, there are absolutely no hidden court fees, even if we have to sue the airline. Maximum net payout: You keep up to approximately 75% of your money – often €150 to €300 more than with our biggest competitors. 100% no win, no cost: You bear zero financial risk. If we go to court and lose, we cover all legal and court costs. 2 minutes of effort for you. We take care of the rest. Submit your documents once in just 2 minutes. Our cross-border legal team handles all the paperwork – from the initial letter to the airline to the courtroom. You'll never be left in the dark: We guarantee regular status updates on your case. (Forgot your flight number? No problem, our system will find it for you.) Certified security from Germany. Unlike opaque international intermediaries, Claim Flights GmbH is a registered German legal services provider. We guarantee strict GDPR compliance: Your sensitive passport and booking data are safe with us. We are available for our customers regarding flight delay compensation: Central Hotline: +49 (0)228 9293 9029, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Excellent service, will use again!

I've contacted in date 12/12/2023 ClaimFlights due to a cancelled flight. Mrs. Fanslau has been very clear in every step of the process and she ended the conversation telling me that it could take atmost 3 months. Exactly 2 months later I've received the communication that everything went through, left my bank coordinates and in less than 10 days I've received the amount.

Great communication and expediency

Experience was great because there were no delays in communication and everything was communicated in a clear and precise fashion. Beside that, correspondence was highly professional and followed through. Company is doing great because of it approach to its clients and its expediency.

Useless Company

This is a useless company. They're polite and responsive, but they won't get you any compensation if the airline puts up a fight. In other words, you don't need them. If the airline agrees to pay, you can get the full amount of compensation directly from the airline without giving a percentage of your money to this company. However, in our case, this company's representative, who called himself a "legal expert," initially indicated confidence that we would be compensated for our delayed flight which resulted in missing our connection. Then two months later, he said that they spoke with the airline and did some research, and that due to "extraordinary circumstances," we would not be compensated. When I asked for an explanation as to the extraordinary circumstance, and what research they did, he had no answer. He said the "legal team" didn't tell him. He then said we saved money by not going to a lawyer. That's absurd. Saved money from what? You did nothing. These people basically do what you can do yourself. They make a claim to the airline, and if the airline agrees to pay, they take their cut and give you the rest. But if the airline has some excuse as to why they won't pay, this company won't go any further. They won't go to court for you, unlike their representations that they would. They can't even be bothered to give a proper explanation for the denial from the airline. Extraordinary Circumstance is the only thing an airline can claim to get out of compensating passengers. But there is a legal definition for what that means, and it's fact based. So, what were the facts justifying this excuse? We won't know because the "legal team" didn't bother to explain it to the "legal expert" Claim Flights assigned to our case. What a joke. Don't waste your time with them. I never will ever again.

Taylor, We understand that you are unhappy for not getting money. But you have to understand that there is no automatic mechanism to get money for a flight delay, especially if there was a strike ("extraordinary circumstances") or other things where the airline do not have to pay you can not get money.

Yes, we have studied law and we are legal experts. We evaluate hundreds or claim cases each month. We are experts to evaluate flight delay compensation claims, we do nothing else than evaluating claims as our business.

To answer your question:
"Have done nothing" -> we have used our sophisticated model to find that your case is probably based on extraordinary circumstances and we have communicated with you and the airline. You have paid nothing for our work but we have worked and even provided you the outcome of our work.

"Saved money from what? " -> we saved money which you would have lost by giving the case to a lawyer. If you lose a flight delay compensation claim you have to pay for the court, your lawyer and the lawyer of the airline. Many people find out that they can even lose 1000 or 2000 Euro with their flight delay case and are surprised that there is not automatic gain. If they receive a 2000 Euro bill to be paid instead of getting money. Scroll down here in the comments and you find people having lost money by going in court for them self.

If things are so easy and it is so easy to get money you should claim yourself (but Airline has rejected to pay to you?) or hire a lawyer and find out yourself. I would be interested how it works out for you finally, please keep us up to date.

All the best for your case, your ClaimFlights Team

Will only take cases where no legal help is required

Refused to take my case and only said it was outside of their scope. They did not bother to explain in what way it was outside their scope.

I believe they said so because they understood it would take more than just a formal letter to the airline to get compensated because of the circumstances in my case.

Edit: they now claim they do not serve my jurisdiction. Well, if that is the case then they should shut down claimflights.co.uk as it clearly gives the impression that they serve the UK market

Gobbledock,
We understand that you are not happy because you did not receive money and we even could not take your claim.

When we reject a claim because it is "outside of our scope of work" it means we reject the claim because we do not have a lawyer in the specific country (or it is not possible to foreclosure a claim in this country). The topic is complex and it is not possible to discuss this topic and the detailed reasons why we have no lawyer (or can not enforce claims) in a specific country.
As a conclusion you can understand that if we reject a case because we have no lawyer means that we go in court with many, even hundreds of cases. We earn our money with cases and do not filter by "easy" or not easy cases. We would go bankrupt if we reject all "hard" cases. If we have no lawyer we can not take a case because we can not force the Airlines to pay. We take all valid cases for all regions where we have a lawyer and handle the case. We cover most of the major European countries and work in 11 languages and only reject rarely due to "out of scope".
We are experts in deciding how to proceed with a case and we chose the route where the customer gets the fastest success and money.
As you have not identified yourself we can not say anything to your specific case but if for example you have a case in a very small European country like in Montenegro it would make sense to look for a claim company that explicit mention to cover this small country.

Hope this could help you.
All the best with your case. Claim Flights Team

Case resolved with zero follow ups from my end

Firstly, they communicated the timelines extremely clearly. This ensured that I knew how long it’s going to take to process my request. Secondly, they collected all the relevant documents to prove my case. I did not have to follow up even once. An experience that I barely have when I interact with other service providers.

Good communication with the representative.

Good communication with the representative. I received a 75% refund for the flight delay. The procedure is relatively simple, but the waiting time for the refund is half a year. It's probably not up to ClaimFlights, but up to the airline.

Misleading advertising about final payouts

Communication with this company is easy and clear. But I warn you, that they clearly communicate on their website that the payout for compensation for less than 1500 km is €187.50 and that there is no hidden cost.
This looks like misleading advertising. Because my payout was 173.75€. They inform me that this info only applies for non-EU countries because there is a tax for EU countries. So, they are a German-registered company, but all advertising info about payout on their page is for non-EU countries!? ;) Overall I have good experience, but costumers deserve clear communication! This is the reason that I gave them only 3 stars.

Rok, we have to pay VAT taxes according to the EU laws. We have to pay the VAT rate of your country of residence. If for example you come from a non-EU site to us and in the process we understand that you live in a country with higher VAT we have to change to the corresponding VAT. This changes the price. It is called EU VAT Mini One Stop Shop (or MOSS scheme) and given to us as a legal requirement by EU tax authorities. Sorry for the confusion it caused to you. Your ClaimFlights Team
