My wife and I recently sold our property in Rochester Kent.

We used City Removals and Storage for our removal needs.

We hired City Removals for our move from a 2-bedroom flat (on the second floor with no lift) to a house. They were so nice, efficient and professional throughout, and gave us the rare experience of a stress-free move! We used City Removals for our recent move and I cannot praise them enough, right from the person, who came to our house to assess our requirements to the team, who moved us. We used them for packing, moving into storage and then out of storage to our new home. We had to change our moving date several times, but this was not a problem for City Removals. All the way through they provided a very professional service at a competitive price. They even made sure that the same team, who moved us into storage also moved us out of storage. The packing service was excellent, our belongings packed securely with no

This is a wonderful company to deal with. Their pricing is competitive, and the administration software is user friendly. The packing and removal staff were excellent, and went over and beyond to be helpful and considerate. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company.

Sebastian, Micheal and Catalin were very professional, precise and very careful from the beginning till the end.

They did a great job packing everything on Thursday in under 3 hours and moving everything from a 2 bedroom flat to a 3 bedroom house in under 4 hours. This includes a very stubborn table and a king size bed almost reassembled from scratch.

They packed and carried everything with a great care and not a single thing is missing or broken. I had a very good experience with City Removals and would be recommending them to anyone who are looking for such services.

Excellent from start to finish. Communication and flexibility in allowing us to change dates when our completion date kept being renegotiated. The moving crew themselves were superb, turned up on time and had loaded the vans in under 2 hours. Extremely professional and hard working, these guys know what they are doing. Highly recommend.

So very happy with the removal service from City Removals. They turned up an hour earlier than expected (!) came in, and got on with the job in a very speedy manner. By 9am our house was almost cleared and in the van! All four men were polite and easy to communicate with. They helped us where we needed help and gave us little breaks to finish some of our own bits off. They were just the same at the new property, putting things away quickly and taking good care of all of our stuff. Unlike some other removal companies, they don't take upfront payments only to penalise you and keeping your deposit if your legal process doesn't work out as expected. Plus they were the cheapest quote I got! Me and my family were impressed with how hard these guys worked and I highly recommended them to anyone.

City Removals did a fantastic job on a very complicated move involving 3 houses. There were also some very heavy items to get to the 1st floor over the outside balcony. Nothing was too much trouble even when I decided the piano didn’t work where I originally thought they moved it again for me.

At around the start of July, City Removals were booked for a removal during 19-22 August. This was to take a five bedroom house into storage - removal from storage was TBC. When I phoned (on 11th August) to confirm the target move in date I was told, as some members of staff had suddenly left (supposedly the day before I phoned), they could no longer do my move. They had not made any effort to contact me to inform me hence if I hadn't phoned I would have been waiting for them to turn up on 19th.

They may not consider the booking was formerly confirmed given we were waiting for exchange. However they had scheduled us in and since then we had been in regular conversation regarding the status (telling them everything was on track) and they seemed happy with this. At no time we’re we told the booking was at risk (or even for that matter gone). When we phone to confirm full move details, the person on the phone didn’t even realise themselves they could no longer support our booking and came back with the statement that two employees had suddenly gone on holiday the day before unexpectedly leaving them understaffed…

They did a great job, hard working good guys.
