Promise what they cannot deliver
After a lot of going back and forth we joined up with Citrus Lime because they promised that they could provide everything we needed as a small business . However, this has not been the case, they are not able to provide us with what was promised with regards to our reports, something which we specifically asked about before we joined as its important to us , we were told that it wouldn't be a problem, but it was . They did provide a solution to one of the issues that we had, but they only did that for 6 months then just stopped doing it with no contact or explanation . I have emailed on numerous occasions only to be ignored. I also rang and had the classic "sorry she's in a meeting" I even emailed the CEO Neil McQuillan who claims to be "passionate about small business and creating software" but obviously isn't capable of replying to an email as I'm still waiting for a reply, so basically IGNORED again! If you are a small cycle business please avoid this expensive , over complicated and overrated company they will just tell you everything you want to hear to get you signed up, then continuously raise the cost each month, whilst still not providing what was promised ! Returning to the fold...
Being a returning customer after a lapse of some 5 year i had a basic grasp of CloudPOS already given its similarity to the original RMS based software.
That said, what i didn't expect was the very attentive and can do nature of the staff, from handover by Sales to the projects team its been "Can do" from the word go. A very rushed implementation at my end due to frustration on our old software, was no problem for Nathaniel, Tom and supporting teams.
We went live some 7 weeks after signing on the line, with no major issues and all staff happier with the new system than the previous.
Online support via Live Chat is excellent, "How to" documentation is a plenty too, clear and well presented with plenty of images to help to less initiated too.
Couldn't be happier, a little more expensive yes, but actually - Bloody Good!

Professional friendly service from day one
Great product and service provided by the onboarding team in particular Nathanael who from start to finish ensured regular weekly meetings. Any questions, queries we had were dealt with promptly and with ease. Getting to grips with the backoffice and Cloud MT was straightforward thanks to the virtual one on one sessions as well as a databank of FAQ's and tutorial videos. Thank you all!

Having been a sucessfully established bike shop for nearly 30 years, i was super sceptical about moving from our long term proven paper based system but knew one day we'd have to take the plunge and so, one rainy morning the decision was made! After a meeting with the guys at Citrus Lime and with the staff we went all in with the top package, POS, Workshop, Ecommerce, the lot. Game changer! They held our hands initially which was great having no experience of EPOS but finally everything fell into place and we were away and haven't looked back. Every time I hit a snag, there’s one name I hope pops up in the support chat – Charlotte. Calm, clear, and quicker than you can say “stock sync issue,” she always gets things sorted without fuss.
Not only is she good, she’s consistently good – which, let’s be honest, is rarer than a barcode that scans on the first try.
The others are great as well — but Charlotte’s in a league of her own. If Citrus-Lime ran a loyalty card for support calls, I’d want her face on it. Absolute legend.

I recently used CitrusLime to set up the point-of-sale system for my bike shop, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the start, the team was incredibly supportive, guiding me through the onboarding process with clear communication and step-by-step assistance.
The system itself is intuitive and tailored to the needs of the bike retail industry. Inventory management, customer tracking, and integrated e-commerce tools all work seamlessly, saving me time and reducing admin headaches. Their Cloud POS setup made it easy to train staff and start selling quickly.

Excellent support for onboarding
We began onboarding with CitrusLime in Aug. ‘24 and went live in March ‘25. That process involved cleaning up and transferring 30k+ products from our old system, transferring customer accounts, store credits, gift card balances, rewards points, designing a new website and populating it, and training our staff for the changeover. The Citrus Team was there for us the whole time to both answer questions, suggest solutions, and even to assist with the data cleanup and transfer. Weekly video calls with Sarah and Nate kept the project moving forward. Emma was clear and responsive with her training sessions for all levels of the staff. When it came time to go live, having Christian and Zach in the store with us for 5 solid days - to do hardware setup and be available to the staff for any questions and in-the-moment training - was exactly the support we needed to get up and running. I have led systems transitions in the past, and none were as comprehensive and supportive as Citrus.
Now that we’re a month into using Cloud POS on a daily basis, that support is still there. Responses from the Customer Service chat are never more than a few minutes away, and the solutions are always instructive. Highly recommended.

Honestly Christian made the experience great. Without an actual account exec or account manager - Christian has been invaluable in helping us transition to our new POS system. He is knowledgeable, helpful, super quick to respond and follows through.
Coming from other well known POS…
Coming from other well known POS systems over the past few decades, I was reluctant to change but Citrus offer me a complete system which I knew would save me time. They have delivered on what I wanted, which is good, but what impressed me the most was the team and the customer care and service. I've never experienced such a good interaction with a company. Thank you so much, I love our new POS and Website!

Still figuring out some in & outs as citrusLime is completely different than our outgoing POS - but I'm glad I chose CitrusLime, and I can see its going to work out very well. Also, Adam (along with everyone else I have dealt with) has been so good every step of the way, it made the "switch-over" process MUCH easier!
