The initial PoC made all the difference

The interactions with my initial PoC (Shayan) were flawless, prompt, and knowledgeable. Some initial hiccups wit the installation team though they did a good job in the end. Charger has been well installed and cable is hidden under the interlock tiles. As with every service there is something to improve, the internal communication l, if streamlined, would greatly improve the customer experience. The manual of the charger should be updated to reflect the correct app (CITA EV vs CITA connect). Overall a recommendable and certified installer for EV chargers in the UAE

Just to clarify, the user manual you received was part of the previous year’s hardware batch, which still mentioned the older application.

That app is no longer in use, and the updated version is the CITA EV App (available on both iOS and Android). All new chargers produced this year already come with the revised manual pointing to the correct app.

They have put a lot of work into getting the scheduled charge sorted ,and it now has .Maybe the App migration should not have taken place without the scheduled charge aspect being looked ar first .

I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. The setup was smooth, and the charger is both efficient and user-friendly. The smart features make it incredibly convenient to monitor and control charging sessions right from my phone.

RECOMMENDED! Previously I had my EV charger on plug and play. I was contacted by the CITA team who informed me about the app features, and who then came and helped me set up my charger and app. Using the charger online completely changed the experience. Being able to connect the RFID cards, and track and schedule my usage is great, and the CITA team made sure to explain all possible features.

No bang for ya buck

This company has gone backwards .. if your looking for a charger to be an on off nothing more you may as well save your money and buy another brand. It didn’t regulate charge load from the soar to grid so no using what’s taken by the grid. They don’t offer 24.7 support. It’s 9-5 that’s it.
I’ve had issues for 3 months 3 months. 3 months!! You make it sound that they connected me and all my issues ended. It didn’t work after a week max 2. The only person who has helped is the gent from Scotland who called me .. to understand the issues. I agree I now have a charger (I have to instal) and start again but not using Cita app..

The 3 year warranty means nothing if they don’t have the stock to change when. There is a fault. The fault was obvious yet I was asked to do so much in the background I could work for tech

I do understand there is going to be some U.K. tech support which will help. That said do your research

Thought we had got around the corner with a new charger. Instal at my wins cost. Set up and….. chargers. Great bit still issues. It won’t Lock at the EV when you send the charge

So now matter what the reply I will always provide an honest updated reply

It’s now October and while I can charge which is great after months of nothing. The unit is still not doing what it can or should do ..

The result? A brand-new replacement charger has already been approved and is scheduled to reach you by the end of September, once stock arrives. While the wait is not ideal, please know we’ve committed to seeing this through until you’re back up and charging without worry.

Months of dispute

After months of contacting them direct for a faulty EV that’s under a 3 yr warranty there along for more time to fob be off .. I so wish I could upload the comms from this company it’s a cow boy set up based in UAE.. they have no customer experience at all don’t care don’t listen and I will share with anyone the comms I have. There’s warranty for a reason .. it’s faulty. Exchange replace or refund and I’ll gladly go elsewhere. Anyone who’s looking at a cita charger get one with uk back up wnd someone who outs your first

The cost to me to charge my car and take elsewhere and the inconvenience they aren’t bothered at all. Try this do that unplug re install let’s try something different. Can you take the cover off can you pull the link switch to make it live all the time ! No. My car company wouldn’t say glue the key in car and leave it live. Honestly. Stay clear. It’s now and on off charger. You can’t use the solar charge did your roof and grab the extra .. it’s now a unit that is on or off. That it. A lot of money for a charger that jusy charges and does nothing more

Update. You immediately changed my charger ? You did nothing of the sort. O and to wish months. As do my Wi-Fi. There nothing wrong with my Wi-Fi signal at all. This is utter lies.

When you first reported issues, we immediately replaced your charger under warranty. The replacement later ran into internet connectivity problems, which meant it was running in Plug & Play mode for a while. To improve your experience, we connected the charger to our backend, but performance was inconsistent due to low Wi-Fi signal strength at the site.

Despite multiple checks, discussions with your installer, and ongoing communication with you, the weak Wi-Fi signal continued to cause difficulties. We even explored workarounds like Plug & Play, but we know this didn’t meet your expectations and left you frustrated. Because your charger is still under warranty, we have already discussed the possibility of another replacement to ensure you have a fully working solution.

At CITA, customer satisfaction is extremely important to us, and while challenges like Wi-Fi connectivity can complicate things, we never want a customer to feel unsupported.
