Robert was very helpful and patient…

Robert was very helpful and patient answering all my questions, even after multiple calls ands emails! He was very kind, and made me feel secure in making a decision for insurance and coverage. Amazing service, would definitely work with him again.

Absolutely outstanding - Cameron

We had an absolutely outstanding experience working with Cameron - truly a 5+ star service. Over the course of two days, Cameron dedicated a significant amount of time to guide us through the different insurance options in a way that was not only highly professional but also incredibly clear and reassuring.

He went far beyond what we would normally expect from an insurance advisor. Cameron patiently explained every detail, answered all of our questions thoroughly, and made sure we genuinely understood how the different policies work - both individually and in combination. He never rushed us and always encouraged us to ask more questions, which gave us great confidence that we were making the right decisions.

What really stood out was his commitment and care. Cameron consistently followed up, reviewed specific concerns in depth, and looked into every point we raised. His approach was extremely transparent and honest, and it was very clear that his priority was to help us find the best long-term solution, rather than simply selling a product.

Insurance can often feel complex and overwhelming, but Cameron made the entire process feel structured, manageable, and even enjoyable. Thanks to his expertise and dedication, we now feel very well informed and confident in the coverage we have chosen.

I was hospitalized a few weeks ago

I was hospitalized a few weeks ago. We made a claim from Cigna and they have singularly been unresponsive to my requests. I informed them that being the ceo of major company I have my PA deal with all matters and also informed Cigna that my PA hhandles all matters. I would appreciate an immediate call from customer care so that I can explain in greater detail

Robert Muir of Cigna was exceptionally helpful in assisting us in setting up our travel policy. He was extremely patient with us when we had to postpone our trip for three months owing to family matters. I would highly recommend Robert and our experience was excellent across the board.

I had a very positive experience with…

I had a very positive experience with Cigna Health Care Insurance. I needed to obtain official proof of insurance for immigration purposes in Germany, and their team handled my request quickly and professionally.

A special thanks to my account handler, Gordon Barr, who was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to understand my situation, provided clear guidance, and ensured that I received the necessary documentation without any delays. His responsiveness and attention to detail made what could have been a stressful situation much easier to manage.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service I received and would highly recommend Cigna to anyone needing reliable health insurance support, especially for international or immigration-related requirements.

Horrible customer service

I have asked repeatedly for a receipt for what i paid for my taxes and this company cant be bothered to send me that. I keep getting told that its in the online portal which only has the last few months. No matter that I've spent thousands of dollars on insurance with them. If they can't be bothered to help with this i honestly hate to see if I ever needed to actual submit a claim.

Consistently Superior Service

Over the many years that I have been a client of Cigna Global there have been two consistent advantages that I have identified and convinced me to maintain the relationship.

One is the very competitive pricing and coverage that Cigna Global offers. While they have offered the lowest rate for me personally the coverages offered have always been superior to other companies.

Secondly and often more important is the service provided, not only for claims but also the personal customer support provided by Sarah Ann Fagan each and every year. I couldn't provide a better reference than suggesting her as your present or future client support representative.

Top Level Account Handler.

Working with Gordon Barr as our account handler has be a great pleasure.
He has been quick and given good clear responces to all question and request.

Horrible Experience After 30+ Years…

Horrible Experience After 30+ Years with Cigna
I've been a loyal Cigna policyholder since 1993, originally through my employer. After retiring, I chose to continue with Cigna independently because I believed they were a trusted name in healthcare. Unfortunately, that trust has completely eroded after this most recent experience. They now have more red tape than the federal government.
This wasn't my first bad experience with Cigna’s customer service. About two years ago, they sent me a letter saying my plan was being eliminated and I needed to select a new one. It was a nightmare trying to find a licensed agent in Hawaii. They promised to fix the issue—but never did.
Then in May, I received a notice that my premium would increase by over 50% starting in August. I made six calls on May 26, 27, and 28, trying to change my policy. After lengthy verification each time, I was told the agent wasn’t licensed in Hawaii and someone would call me in 24–48 hours. No one ever called.
The following week, I called three more times, only to go through the same cycle. The verification questions became downright absurd—asking whether I live in a house or condo, or whether my number is a mobile or landline. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, one rep hung up on me.
When I finally got a supervisor on the line, she transferred me to the dental department and promised a callback on Friday, June 6th. I did get a call—from Kimberly Bane, who said she was with Cigna and would resolve everything. We spent four hours on the phone, and nothing got done. She said everything would be taken care of on Monday. She didn’t call Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Absolutely nothing was fixed.
Kimberly insisted I cancel my existing policy and start a new one. I did, but the process was chaotic. They required my wife's verbal permission repeatedly, even for the most minor changes—it became a complete hassle.
Eventually, we canceled the plan altogether and requested a refund. We were told it would be processed within 10 days. It has now been 18 days, and still no refund.
We finally went with Hawaii Dental Service, and within five minutes, my wife was covered. All it took was a single call and a simple release. Cigna is disorganized, unprofessional, and not equipped to serve Hawaii residents.
After 30+ years, I’m done with them. Save your money and your sanity—go with Hawaii Dental Service or another local provider. They understand local needs and actually know how to deliver service.

Update: I received a reply but do not have any positive change to make to my experience.
