Horrible company.. I never have encountered a group of scamming criminals like this.. how can this be considered a valid company…
Deny all claims by default
The app is terrible, and they also have a default response of denying all claims. You then have to chase them to get reimbursed. Huge waste of time for the customer, I assume they think half their customers will just give up saving them money.

Shocking service
Shocking service, developing world call centres, no timely responses. Wish I could award on with MINUS STARS instead. I don't understand how companies like this can survive in this day and age. Give your money to a good company like Bupa. The level of service compared to a real company is like night and day. It might just save your life, no joke!
Very poor service - Full Cover feature is illusory
I signed up with Cigna from June 2023, attracted in particular by the Full Cover feature at participating practices. This feature is illusory - it's very hard to find a practice that will actually return calls or book an appointment (some of the ones on the list don't appear to exist!) and when you do, you usually get overcharged as the practice seems to have no understanding of the arrangement it's supposedly signed up to. Cigna has very poor customer service and is generally a pain to deal with. I understand they're withdrawing from the UK this year - good riddance, but hopefully they can pay for the treatmen they cover before they go!
Horrible experience
Horrible experience. The application is faulty, I was not able to login. I reported this x3 times in the last one year and the company couldn't care less. Website is poorly designed, emails not working. In general, it has been impossible to find the information I needed for a referral to a private specialist. A total waste of your money. My company just discontinued their contract with Cigna due to constant complains.

Very disappointing
Very disappointing. I have been using Cigna for a few years and never had issues until recently. Submitted a new claim 2 weeks ago via their online portal. The claim has still not been processed. The claim is within the cover limit and a simple one (dental hygiene). I never had problems with claims last year or the year before, but don't know what is happening this year.
It really is unacceptable and really frustrating for me to have to chase my reimbursement this long.
Cigna - if you are monitoring this portal, now would be the time to respond!
Avoid at all costs. Horrible company.
Cigna UK refused to pay one of my doctors because apparently I used my entire annual allowance but the company refuses to tell me how much the allowance is.
After one year the doctor`s assistant contacted me to let me know they didn`t receive the payment so I contacted Cigna to understand what happened.
I opened a dispute and sent all the documents I had abbout the appointment.
After 40 days with no response I insisted and they asked me for "more information" so I sent them the same document I had sent previously.
What now? They asked for more 30 days to give me a response. Absolutely shambles.
Avoid at all cost
Will go out of their way not to reimburse you anything despite the premium they charge. My company changed provider. I you are a company, Do not even consider a contract with them no matter what they promise. Hence the lacklustre reviews on this site.
Absolutely horrible!
I have been a Cigna customer for many years now and I always have some sort of issue with them. Annoyingly I have to chase Cigna for my claims every single time, despite following all of their policies and procedures. My husband is also a member and he has similar experience.
I recently made a dental claims on their online members portal. After Cigna followed up with a request for more documents which I provided the claim disappeared from the system completely. What a waste of time!

I would rather pull my teeth out with pliers than deal with customer service at Cigna. Just utterly appalling. The goal I think is for clients to give up on valid claims they make through awful servicing

I don't know what going on with Cigna but the service levels have gone through the floor. Had a number of really poor experiences with them on my corporate policy this year.

Be warned - Abhorrent!
Have waited almost 3 months for a decision to be made on Corporate PMI cover. Cigna have continually provided incorrect information and delayed thier decision making process. Complaint has been raised to HR, FCA and Cigna.
Absolutely abhorrent company and customer services, use any other PMI insurer if you can do so and avoid this one!

Very poor service
I had to put one star to write down a review but the punctuation is zero. The service of this company is a joke, there is not service, not answers for issues, never before in my life I found a company that really does not matter customers. So very bad experience and a lot of money wasted. Do not use Cigna it is terrible.

Very few approved dentists - not worth the cost
Very few approved dentists, the ones I see are chains with bad or not stellar reviews
If you use non approved dentists which would be your local dentist, you are looking at 40-50% deductions
Not worth the cost of cover

Dental insurance claims
I made 2 dental claims on their online members portal.
