given a weekly update and was very pleased with my order once received.

Six weeks later and multiple broken…

After leaving my review ChesQuin contacted me and expressed how disappointed they were in my review. I was told to expect delivery by today. There is nothing in the tracking system, I have not received my purchase and ChesQuin are not responding to my messages.. later and multiple broken promises and still I have not received my order. Lack of communication has been frustrating to say the least. Now told I must contact manufacturer directly. Very disappointing situation.

Great!

Lovely piece of furniture, very reasonably priced compared to other websites. Fast delivery and great communication, was told my item was out of stock and wouldn't recieve it within the 3-7 day delivery slot but it actually turned up bang on time. Would definitely buy from here again.

Great Customer Service

I would have given 5 stars but unfortunately l did have to wait some time for my delivery due to shortage of materials. I was however updated on a weekly basis by Heather which was a great help so thankyou and l am very pleased with my order!

Avoid this company at all costs!!! Appalling customer service from the founder!!!!

I rarely leave negative reviews because mistakes happen to everyone and I see no point in destroying someone's reputation over a minor issue. Plus for me to take time to write such a long review, the service had to be a complete nightmare, otherwise i would not even bother.
Potential clients should know that service I received from the founder of Chesquin Interiors was appalling and they should really improve their processes and perhaps how they deal with clients who actually support their small business.
Comments from others about a really bad customer service are actually in line with what I experienced.
We ordered an accent chair from ChesQuin Interiors and during the 8 week lead time we've received a few updates which was a nice touch.
Problems started when we received the item. Upon opening the box a horrible smell hit me and the chair looked like a second hand item that was stored in someone's dirty basement for 5years. Item was smelly and filthy!!!!
I immediately sent an email describing issues and asked for collection and refund. I received no response to the email, so I called their number and nice lady in the Customer Service (Heather) promised to ask the founder to process that request (as only the founder can process returns - ever heard of delegation?). I called them EVERY DAY over the next week!!!! asking if someone could arrange the collection and refund. All I heard every time was that the message was passed onto the founder.
I received a phone from the founder by accident as she actually thought she was speaking about a different item with another customer. When I pointed out I have been waiting for her response either by email or phone repeatedly she said she was on holiday previous week (again, delegation????!!!) and will prep labels for collection. It took another week for them to get the item (early Friday) and on Monday (going into the third week from the delivery date) she still didn't open the box to inspect the item as she DIDN'T HAVE TIME!!!!!! Really? Your customer entrusts you to deliver what you advertise on your website and you're responsible to ensure the quality is as expected. The level of service from the founder is beyond anything I have encountered from any other furniture retailers and we recently bought a lot for our new place. I'm really really upset that you treated us - your customers - with arrogance, took your sweet time (whilst keeping the item and our money) and didn't even bother to say sorry for the appalling service you provided. I actually had to call up again on Tuesday as nothing was done on Monday as promised.
MESSAGE TO THE FOUNDER: don't embarrass yourself further with responding to this review with the generic message and take this as an opportunity to improve and learn some customer service skills (maybe from your lovely stuff who clearly have more of that skill than you).

Good service

The item was dispatched very quickly after purchase and arrived well packaged. The only small niggle was that the delivery company didn't send me a notification prior to delivery but I guess this was beyond the control of ChesQuin. Overall very impressed by them, have recommended to people and will return for more items in the future.

Purchased a set of draws and 2x bedside…

Purchased a set of draws and 2x bedside tables, both look great and to a high quality, delivered quicker than expected as were on back order. Going to buy a second set of draws to go alongside the first in the future. Had an issue which was my mistake regarding putting in the wrong postcode which was realised by the seller and i was contacted quickly to resolve. Would recommend using.
