Horrible Customer Service. Ps. They filter out negative reviews on their website. Not trustworthy.

If you value customer service, do NOT use cheese of the month club. I had a seasonal subscription. I had been excitedly awaiting my cheese for three months. I’m a new mom who could really use a special treat, as I’ve had a very difficult time lately (grieving my dog), and this was a gift from my husband for my birthday.

I’m sad to say, that I never received a delivery notification. My package was delivered to my back door (that we don’t use), and my cheese had been sitting outside in the blazing sun for over 24 hours without my knowledge. I assumed I’d get notification of delivery, because every other perishable order I’ve ever had sends a text when the delivery is in its way, and sometimes even will take a photo as proof of delivery. That, in my opinion, should be the norm.

Needless to say, the cheese was molded, melted and ruined. I was soooo disappointed!

When I hopefully and politely reached out to customer service to explain the situation, and request some type of compensation, representative named Molly informed me that it was my responsibility to be tracking and monitoring the package. Apparently, I have no plans and have no life and should keep refreshing the tracking email they sent days before. Eye roll. No accountability was taken and no refund of any kind was offered.

I proceeded to draft an email response further expressing my disappointment and frustration. I requested confirmation that my subscription would be cancelled, and that no future automated payments would be taken from my account moving forward. I waited three days. No response. I had to follow-up. My eyes are now to the back of my head. They had plenty of chances to make things right, but they didn’t.

So, using the only control I have in this situation, I’m choosing to make this post. I hope you will consider Murray’s Cheese subscription instead. That is what I’ll be doing. I frequented Murray’s cheese stores when I lived in NYC, and the quality is impeccable, and the staff have always been knowledgeable and helpful. I should have gone with them from the start, but I was nostalgic for cheese of the month because I previously subscribed in 2020. Now, I have so many regrets. Please don’t make the same mistake.

Ps. I tried to post this review in their website and it was filtered out. I’d imagine many others with terrible experiences also are at struggling to have their voices heard. Be warned.
